You cannot be serious about the use of that term 'educated'. Look at the crap they go on with.... try for another term to describe their misfortune..... 'education' just doesn't fit the bill... you can teach a horse the way to water... you cannot make him follow the path ...
Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin

Don't laugh too hard!

You're going to need those foreign immigrant qualified healthcare workers to feed you, hose you down, pop you your pills and tuck you into bed...

You're gonna have to learn to say 'thank you' to them, for their service... Or will that be 'Gracias' or 'Dhanyavaad' ??!!

The workforce in aged care facilities is only qualified at Certificate level.

Millennials, by and large, are stupified by their schooling.

That'd be a good thing, given how many Millennials and their immigrant equivalents we're going to need to manage the demographic blowout of current over-60s into their graves or funeral pyres.

But, as every schoolboy knows, those imported millenials will also get old.
A large scale immigration program doesn't solve the demographic skewering that is resulting from longer lives and fewer children.

Australians should produce their own next generation, not just keep importing a varieted third world younger generation.

It's too late to produce our own next generation in enough numbers to manage the current geriatric boomer blowout - that should have happened 40 years ago.

The Zoomers are an even smaller generation than the Millennials and show no signs of wanting to breed like rabbits to create a large post-Alpha generation.

A large-scale immigration program solves the current demographic skewering that has resulted from longer lives and fewer children.

Don't forget, under the Female Liberation Laws - women must work long hours in dedication to the Economy and low unemployment rates, rather than be stay-at-home Mothers raising the kids up properly with love.

We have couples with no kids, both 'careered' and only little white fluffy dogs. It's all about the Cafe-Latte 'Media' savvy lifestyle. With the woman working too, no kids - they can both afford a Cappacino as well. It's all about priorities.

Exactly.

Two (soon to be three) self-absorbed generations have produced a demographic blowout of over-60s that cannot be managed by internally-produced 20- to 40-somethings.

We should consider ourselves blessed that Australia is one of the top 10 destinations of choice by prospective immigrants.

Spare a thought for the Chinese in China, where demographic collapse is extreme which was horrifically worsened by the one-child policy. Almost no one wants to move to China.

So far so good....we have common ground; let's read on:

Rather, it means that reality can be a consequence of shared belief.

eg  the 'shared belief' among some people that Palestine belongs to Jews makes the ownership real, according to you.

Problem; this 'reality' can only be maintained  through continuous warfare, as we have seen for the last 75 years.

Has FD finally met his match in TGDivide (Xena da Princess Warrior Cheesy)? No-one's given it to FD this good since Gandalf member did when in his prime and before he joined HAM-ASS.

That'd be the only way to raise the incentive for women to have the required 3 children to end the demographic collapse from the inside - although it would take 25 years to reap the benefits... Like trees, with the best time to plant them being 25 years ago!

Of course, there's always the risk of creating a Romanian-style Ceausescu orphan sub-generation or a US-style welfare-subsidy sub-generation that the Johnson Administration inadvertently created in the mid-60s.

Welfare in lieu of work is a disaster. Solution:

The Case for a Job Guarantee

One of the most enduring ideas in economics is that unemployment is both unavoidable and necessary for the smooth functioning of the economy. This assumption has provided cover for the devastating social and economic costs of job insecurity. It is also false.

When the current state of demographic collapse and the perils of engineering the economy to incentivise higher internal birth rates are considered, the pragmatic sanity of high, skills-based selective immigration comes into high relief.

Ironically, had Nixon not shot his presidency in the head, the likes of a Job Guarantee or UBI policy would have been a reality in the US and, by that, a reality across the Anglosphere.

Nixon was working closely with the likes of Ted Kennedy to develop their aligned political thinking on a fair economy.

Nixon and Johnson both imagined a great society where its citizens would not have want of basic needs including a quality education and job security.

Both were born in the early 20th century (members of the greatest generation), both came from humble beginnings, both saw the horrors of 2 world wars and an economic meltdown, and both had visions of building a societal utopia - with the devil waiting to inevitably manifest itself in the detail.

Johnson, for example, likely could not imagine a mother having throwaway kids for the welfare money his administration provided to free women from the yoke of absent and delinquent husbands.

Many prefer to consider that work in lieu of a free ride is a disaster... work IS, after all, the curse of the drinking class!

Now then - about that 'modern education' so highly regarded...it cannot be fairly called 'education' so let's just call it 'particulation' - one of those magic words that means a host of things:-

particulation:-

. a partial education as a policy
. the ability to articulate all the 'correct' words and phrases without contacting reality
. fragmentation of the mind and mental processes
. a social/cultural toxic miasma that flows from excessive pollution (like an Indian or Chinese industrial complex) of the mind and poisons everything in its path

The greatest foundation of culture, society and civilisation is reality.... and I'm afraid reality is going to make a great deal of difference to any number of modern young gentlemen and ladies...

I recommend you try to understand that concept instead of trying to come up with an argument against it because you are frightened of it. You cannot learn unless you stop talking.

Do you understand how money can have real value only if there is a shared belief in that value?

That is, of course, true with any media of exchange that are not goods, including coins, banknotes, precious metals or digital currency.

It is an obvious reality, which we all learn from a very early age, that unearned income cannot be as valued as that which is earned by effort.

It's why we admire those who started with nothing and earned a fortune by hard work and secretly resent people who win large sums of money.
