Every citizen in this country holds the same Rights.......... it's just that some rights are considered more equal than others...... and what is left for all the whining groups are not Rights - but demands.... and you know how I treat demands.

You DEMAND what?

There are too many topics off the political agenda -
all decided and agreed upon behind closed doors - in secret -
by both major parties.
We never get to vote on it.

Can you name one?

Mass immigration.

Apparently he didn't disagree when it was put to him.......... maybe he didn't understand the question... sort of 'there's core understanding and non-core understanding' ... you know...

A government of Two Parties has no separate party .... no Opposition ... only we Few ... we Happy Few .. we Band of Brothers.... for he who stands with me today IS my brother - whether he be so base...

BOTH support mass immigration .... both go against the wishes of The People.... two 'parties' in lockstep constitute a one party 'government' - anathema to our form of democracy..... fine for North Korea ....

Just because you disagree with them does not mean everyone else does, and does not mean we don't have a democracy.

It's better than North Korea but our democracy has been usurped
by those who make the most important decisions in secret.

Are you calling Peta Credlin a liar?

Quote:
Semi-official admission by anti-democratic elite — we never voted for high immigration:

Back in 1994, launching a book of essays, former prime minister Bob Hawke made the remarkably frank admission that immigration policy had effectively been a conspiracy by the political establishment against the Australian public.

Hawke agreed with one author’s observation that most voters wanted immigration reduced and that the parties had deliberately kept it out of public debate, saying there had indeed been “an implicit pact between the major parties to implement broad policies on immigration that they know are not generally endorsed by the electorate” and that “they have done this by keeping the subject off the political agenda”. …

I would say that she is deliberately misleading people (at the very least), and you are gullible for falling for it. She is actually quoting the statements that she alleges Hawke agreed with - not quoting Hawke himself. I expect if we saw the actual exchange she based that off, it would be even further from the truth.

It is beside the point anyway. You and grapps cannot see the wood for the trees. Even if Hawke did say that, he is not saying we do not have a democracy, and you would be wrong to conclude that. I started a thread about the foundation of our civilisation and you are complaining about not getting your way.

OK - so you believe that none of the decisions on mass immigration have been made in secret
and as a conspiracy between the two major parties?
