These days the Chinese people have seen democracy - "the worst form of government" - with all its faults (the US Capitol riots being a classic example; people dispute  the vote count).

Mainland Chinese see democracy in the nation of Taiwan.

And they are not interested, most agree Taiwan is part of China.

They're more than interested, the Chinese in China want the life the Taiwanese have.

As opposed to:

https://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2020/07/long-term-survey-reveals-chinese-...

The survey team found that compared to public opinion patterns in the U.S., in China there was very high satisfaction with the central government. In 2016, the last year the survey was conducted, 95.5 percent of respondents were either “relatively satisfied” or “highly satisfied” with Beijing. In contrast to these findings, Gallup reported in January of this year that their latest polling on U.S. citizen satisfaction with the American federal government revealed only 38 percent of respondents were satisfied with the federal government.

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

And what is the price of expressing dissatisfaction with the CCP?

Jail, execution, disappearance.

And what is the price  of living in a delusional  "natural individuals rights" world?

Oh - a silly question, when directed to a comfortable conservative.

'I'm alright Jack'.... but Netanyahu is feeling the heat...

As to "loaded guns and bashed in skulls", that's merely your sick political rhetoric, nothing to do with Xi, everything to do with your 'natural rights' delusions: the criminal underbelly in ALL nations relies on "bashed-in skulls" as its business model.

It has everything to do with Xi and the CCP.

"60% of the Taiwanese do not want the DDP. "

Quote:
Police operate without scrutiny and oversight and will act as brutally as they like - there is no accountability unless the victim turns out to be connected.

Like the NT policeman charged with murder who later (after being sacked) admitted racism is rife in the NT police.

You are tarring all police with the same brush, all are supposed to act according to law.

But tragically, your delusional 'natural individual rights' ideology is THE cause of endless wars and entrenched poverty in the world, for which you want to blame others.

Deplorable.

If that had happened in China under the CCP, the cop would not even have been arrested and charged with murder, let alone not face trial.

The Han Chinese are blindingly ethnic-chauvinistic, so any admission of it would be one long yawn to them.

Nonsense. Chinese law says otherwise.

The CCP has killed about 100 million Chinese people.

How many of them have faced justice for their actions?

Would you like to give a straight answer to Frank's question?

You get lots of opportunities to realise your true potential and give your life individual purpose and meaning.

What is the price of expressing dissatisfaction with the CCP?

TGD seems to think collectivism necessarily requires Marxist rule, no freedom speech nor individual rights.

The successful democratic East Asian societies prove that collectivism is compatible with democracy, free speech and individual rights.

About half that number, which is  the upper estimate of the Chinese who starved in the Mao-era famine.

ie, about the same number who have died in wars under the US 'rules based order'(sic) since WW2, courtesy of your delusional 'indivdual rights' ideology.

er....Mao and his accomplices are all dead.
