Donald Trump - the failed former Presdient and rapist - has failed to secure a bond to satisfy the nearly half a billion dollar civil fraud judgment against him, his lawyers told an appeals court on Monday.

The former president’s attorneys argued that finding a company to back a bond in excess of $454m plus millions of dollars in interest is a “practical impossibility,” and one that raises the possibility that New York Attorney General Letitia James can begin seizing his assets unless the court intervenes.

Mr Trump faces “insurmountable difficulties” securing a bond, according to his attorneys. The former president has approached “about 30 surety companies through four separate brokers” to no avail – one week before Ms James can begin collecting.

So, the orange rapist doesn't have as much money as he says he does.

Surprise, surprise, surprise.

Maybe he'll think twice before committing massive fraud or raping someone next time

I guess it becomes a philosophical "argument" re free speech and levels of censorship etc. Without getting into that "debate" and various pluses and minuses etc I do know how that kind of thing is generally handled on more tightly moderated and arguably consequently, more utilised forums. Generally there comes a point where the moderator effectively states; OK you've had more than enough "air-time" and opportunity to promulgate the recurring point. From now on any reference to that recurring theme will be restricted to this one particular thread now set aside for that topic. Any further attempts to derail other threads with it will see you banned. We are not saying you can't discuss it, in fact here is an entire thread devoted to it. However if you keep playing the derail card in other threads; you're out of here. That's how it gets handled elsewhere and seems sensible and reasonable to me.
