The order Monday morning was a significant win for Trump, who was otherwise facing a massive cash crunch and the prospect of New York Attorney General Letitia James seizing some of his assets as soon as this week.

However, while the panel eased the financial cloud over Trump, it did not erase it entirely. The panel gave Trump 10 days to come up with the reduced bond of $175 million, saying it would only delay enforcement of the full amount if he put up that money within this window.........continued

He has 10 days to come up with the 'new' bond requirement of $175 Million....they said they already had $100 million, so the real number is $75 million.....So in the end they will only be posting $175 million bond to secure the stay of the $475 million settlement, until well after an appeal.....which itself is weeks, if not months from being heard.....

That's how I read it....I've seen this type of activity in the Appellate Courts before

If it gets $400-500 million knocked down to less than 25% of the award because they believed he is cash strapped, like you do, it was worth any simple show ploy he uses. It'll probably get him a few more million votes in key EC States too...

Exactly. The big fella knows how to cry poor if he needs to. He can always pass the hat around for more cash. Worst comes to worst, he can tuck into his superpac for a few more mil to keep the courts happy.

Definitely an election expense. Same with the Trump Foundation and the cash he paid Stormy.

Trump must still come up with the full amount unless it is reduced on appeal....The real problem for Trump is his reputation keeps taking a beating as his house of lies come tumbling down....When Trump has to pay $175 million dollars and his supporters claim it is a win, it doesn't bode well for the former disgraced President who is facing far worse charges....A huge financial loss is still a win in MAGA land!!!
