Well it was part of NSW - why would they consider it illegal?

https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia/farmer-charged-with-harming-aboriginal-...

"Awestern Victorian farm caretaker has been charged by the state government with harming Aboriginal heritage for allegedly removing part of a stone arrangement representing a short-finned eel.

The 176-metre long kooyang (eel) stone arrangement at Lake Bolac is on Victoria's Aboriginal heritage register and is thought to be about 1,500 years old.

Farm caretaker Adrian McMaster plans to fight the charges, contesting the beliefs of traditional owners as to the basalt formation's origin, which he has argued is actually a European-constructed sheep pen.

A 60-metre section of the stones, representing the kooyang (eel's) tail, was allegedly removed by Mr McMaster on Good Friday three years ago.

He is potentially facing thousands of dollars in fines if found guilty.

Mr McMaster is one of the owners of the private farmland at Lake Bolac where the stones are located, about 220 kilometres west of Melbourne.

It has been in his family for 120 years.

Mr McMaster's legal adviser said the stones were never an Aboriginal heritage site and the formation was the remains of an old sheepfold.

He also lodged a defamation case against musician Neil Murray and Ballarat newspaper The Courier over commentary and coverage of the incident in 2022."

Langton is the last person that "genuine" Aboriginals need
fighting for their rights—far too confrontational for any
reasoned dialogue with any white government officials, and
seemingly carrying a large anti-white chip on her shoulder.

One could almost accuse her of being racist herself.

And this sort of thing is hardly conducive to any sort of reconciliation...

     ...

Did she—apparently—mean this as some sort of veiled threat?
And was that threat meant to encourage us whities to vote YES
     at the referendum?   Seriously?

Oh she is an Anti-White Racist.
She knows it, but the Media gives her the 'celebrity victimhood' of being black, as long as she attacks white 'politicians' instead. That way, it makes whites in the Media appear - less racist.  Wink

During the voice campaign it was a close run race between Plankton, Mayo and Albo for who was the best voice for the NO camp... you've never seen such an inept performance in favour of anything.. so inept that there was no way they seriously expected it to get up - either that or they were so full of their own ideas that they thought it was a foregone conclusion and Australia would just lap it up......

THAT is the true quality of our Great Leader.... think on it... now he's the top favourite for the worst PM in the history of this country...

Plankton had to be joking calling people racist and stupid....Mayo seemed to believe that being a Communist in Australia was  the bee's knees when it was as absurd a position as the claim that Oswald was talking about being a Marxist in the US Marines ... and Albo, who also sided with Rudd against Gillard since he wanted the Deputy PM slot (god help us!), seemed to think the Australian people loved him so much (very like Rudd) that they simply could not refuse him...

Between them and with all that's happened since in Laboriginal states- all the good will towards Aborigines here has evaporated and people are beginning to utterly loathe them for their persistent demands and demands and land grabs and continuous lies to get hold of things as if they own them all, and then just shut everyone else out.

This can never end well ... in fact it can only end in open warfare if their kids are allowed to continue to run amok in the streets waging war, setting fires and stealing and wrecking and home invading, and destroying everything while the 'elders' and 'parents' laze around sleeping while their kids are running riot and claim they are 'custodians' of the land and all in it - at their discretion.

Something's gotta give at some time....

They're so 'pathetic' at Politics,
because they're so 'dependent' on the Media.

It's as simple as that Grapps.

The Media isn't Politics, its Music and Entertainment as its specialisation.
Which is about as different as Political Great Britain and Eurovision Italy.

Might take a day off here - sick of the stupidity of so many... reading that Gillard book was an eye opener about how they rely on the media and vice versa - no wonder they're out of touch with reality.

It's impossible to believe that Labor state governments actually imagine that closing off all national parks and national icons and tourist attractions is a good thing, just to suit a few dozen whingers over nothing, and that things like 'whale songs' in some sheila's head are the totality of everything.... and that the majority will just knuckle under and accept this utter bullshit.

I reckon if Dutton - of all people - holds his balls and waits until near election time for all this BS to be set in place and pissing people off and then says his government will reverse it - he'll win in a landslide and Labor will virtually vanish from this earth.

I'd vote for anyone that simply says they will reverse this insanity and open things up for everyone again without all this BS... give them Keffir some freehold of their own to build and live on - and the same rights to use the rest as anyone else.... Open Range... not just hand it all over to be fought over for generations again and again...

What kind of idiot thinks that's a plan for the future?  Perpetual lawfare bordering on and finally lapsing into open warfare?  Better rename Canberra The Gaga Strip....

Alice Springs and points north, north Queensland as far as Arakoon, Maclean/Grafton, most towns down the West Coast and so on... all war zones but not declared as such and all where governments have lost control to unarmed (generally) rioters on a daily basis ....  this cannot go on.  Governments allow this - then reward the worst behaviour by raising the arse for the plucking...

Great plan for Australia 2025+

**gags** still gagging when I see that light festival BS at Ayers Rock....  FFS ...   Undecided  Undecided  Undecided

All of her education and income is derived from the white mans world.

No one gives a

about "welcome to country".

It's already every citizens country.

The majority are so far over this bullshyte it's having the reverse affect to what they envisioned.

Marcia Plankton needs to do a Jonah .... and visit the gut of a whale. Grin

How about this bit of bullshyte???

Quote:
He taught her how to swim in the sea, how to dolphin dive down beneath the waves, and how to open her eyes and breathe under the salt water.

Grin breathe underwater??? These people are seriously FITH.

https://www.sbs.com.au/nitv/article/aunty-jodi-grew-up-learning-about-her-connec...

Then there's the lunatic Raelene Cooper that stopped through our court system a major gas project 200klm off the West Australian coast because the whales told her that the seismic testing was interrupting their song lines.

She also claims that every type of marine turtle on the planet comes to a tiny island - Rosemary Island - off the coast from Karratha - comes there to breed.

Complete & utter bullshyte.... yet our courts are believing this nonsense. There's 1 species that predominantly nest on Rosemary Island - the Hawksbill.

Quote:
The largest populations of hawksbills are found in the west Atlantic (Caribbean), Indian, and Indo-Pacific Oceans.

Oh, I'm pretty sure everyone understands what 'Aboriginal self-determination' is, mates ...  in his own words....

Co-chair of the assembly Rueben Berg said the state's taxpayer-backed self-determination fund would enable different Indigenous groups to enter their own treaty negotiations with the government.

You pay for our 'self-determination' so we can pursue our agenda and you have to pay to play - we play....

No money from water rights!  Buggar me - where's my cut?

The Agenda in play - we demand control over land and water and resources you know ... just the very basics.... not a big ask.... just a simple question on one page ..... Victoria leads the way in showing us what an utter disaster leading to eventual civil war any 'voice' was and always will be.

No wonder Albo is skulking in the New Guinea Highlands pretending he climbed The Golden Stairs... he'd have had a heart attack...

I do trust they tell the truth - the WHOLE truth and nothing but the truth and don't just engage in more ball-licking..

Best we haul this one to the top, too... the media and the activists have started anew with the advent of Spring:-

https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia/concerning-act-as-one-state-pushes-ahea...

'Shadow Minister for Indigenous Australians Jacinta Nampijinpa Price has slammed a state's 'Talking Treaty' panel for banning media from its event.

The publicly funded, closed-door discussion was held by the First Peoples' Assembly in Victoria on Sunday to discuss the creation of a state treaty.

The call for a treaty between Indigenous Australians and the government was enshrined in the Uluru Statement from the Heart.

The Uluru Statement's website described it as 'the largest consensus of First Nations peoples on a proposal for substantive recognition in Australian history'.

However, Senator Price criticised Sunday's secret event as the 'first red flag' of how the treaty is likely to be adopted.

She also took aim at the First Peoples' Assembly as an unfair representation of the Indigenous population in Victoria, as only 10 per cent of eligible voters showed up to polling.

'It's really deeply concerning stuff, and especially when you've got a body that's claiming to be a representative body with such a low voter turnout,' Senator Price told Sky News political commentator Peta Credlin.

'You know, it's like what's under way in South Australia at the moment with their legislated Voice, again, 10 per cent voter turnout. Where's that going to go to?'

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese was a vocal supporter of the Uluru Statement from the Heart following his election victory in May 2022.

However, after his failed Voice referendum in October 2023, he has been much more vague in detailing his plan to establish its three pillars - voice, treaty and truth."

Well - clearly to Albo there is only one voice, no deterrent to any treaty with a non-nation, and a truth only available from fairy tales of one side.  Some ball-licker down there was talking about putting up a monument on her property for the victims of massacre - looking into it, the massacres resulted from the killing of a White man who did nothing to them, and followed on from a series of events and usurpations.

That's what you get when you run around killing folk and stuff.

Let's hear it from the monkey gallery... oh, but they were invaded, they had every right to kill people... well, put your kids in the front line then ... besides - they lost.... for killing people.

https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia/expanding-victoria-s-largest-goldmine-c...

"As a proposal to extend the life of Victoria’s biggest goldmine goes under the spotlight, Kirsty McDonald stands on one side of a community faultline.

Her experience on a bush block she describes as her dream home has pitted her against the mine’s Canadian owners, Agnico Eagle, as they seek approval for plans to expand the underground mine, located 20km east of Bendigo, and extend its life by 10 years.

First it was low-frequency noise from a ventilation shaft that affected her. Then in 2021, McDonald started to notice mine-induced seismic activity shaking her property.

“They are incredibly frightening, very stressful and unpredictable,” she says. “They are happening more often and the magnitude is increasing.”

Hers is one of 1,056 submissions to a four-person inquiry committee considering a new environmental effects statement (EES) for the mine, with a directions hearing on Wednesday.

Other neighbouring landowners, advocacy and regulatory groups have also raised concerns, including: the potential for increased traffic; more blasting noise; the risk of contamination of groundwater and the Campaspe River; the “significant impact” of habitat loss on the critically endangered swift parrot; and the mine’s purchase of local homes."

...more..................

https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia/state-apologises-to-stolen-generation-i...

"An historic apology has been offered to Victoria's stolen generation victims by Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan.

Ms Allan made the personal apology on behalf of the state government on Thursday in Melbourne's inner north.

The premier posted a picture online of the smoking ceremony after the event."

"Members of the stolen generations have never received an apology in person from the Victorian government. Until today," she wrote on Facebook.

"On behalf of successive Victorian governments and parliaments, I apologised to those children who were forcibly removed from their families.

Victorian Premier has made a private apology to members of the stolen generation.

"To the babies and children who grew up without knowing who they were. And the mums and dads who were left - sometimes for a lifetime - searching."

Former prime minister Kevin Rudd delivered an historic national apology to the stolen generation in February 2008 following the 1997 Bringing Them Home report.

Ms Allan said the state Labor government had been working with members of the Victoria's stolen generation since it came to office in 2014, and had listened to their voices.

"The apology is for that stolen generation," she told reporters in Shepparton on Friday.

"The attorney-general and I yesterday were joined by people in their 80s, people in their 50s who were part of that stolen generation who are still experiencing the grief and trauma of being torn away from their family at birth."

Opposition spokesman David Davis criticised the government for not inviting the media to cover the ceremony, declaring the apology should have been delivered in plain sight.

"Like many Victorians, I don't personally accept responsibility for things that have happened, indeed in many cases, before my family and perhaps your family were here," he said.

"But whatever statements we're going to make on behalf of the Victorian government should be done honestly and transparently."

In February, the Victorian parliament paused to hear Ms Allan offer a formal apology on behalf of the state to victims of historical abuse and neglect in institutional care.

Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Shane Patton also made a series of mea culpas over the force's mistreatment of Indigenous people at the state's truth-telling inquiry in May.

Ms Allan said her government was guided by the lived experiences of stolen generation members when deciding to hold the apology behind closed doors.

"They absolutely deserve the respect to be able to determine the safe, appropriate way that that apology is delivered," the premier said.

The surprise state apology came a year on from the federal voice to parliament referendum suffering a resounding defeat.

Though Victoria recorded the highest 'yes' vote of any state at 45.85 per cent."
