Why edit out the beginning of that sentence fd? Is it because you are lying?

Ya dumbarse

Because you were struggling to see where the lie was. I guess I could have used crayons. Would that have been preferable?

No, what would be preferable would be if you actually posted the lie. Playing the cretin,  whilst totally in character for you, is not a substitute.

In short: Despite engaging a certified building and pest inspector before buying it, a Gold Coast family's new home was so infested with termites it had to be demolished.
They say the real estate agent knew about the pests but did not tell them

So they had engaged a certified building and pest inspector ?
WTF?
They found nothing wrong?
If the agent knew, then perhaps the agent was surprised when the report came back clear?

I would put blame on inspectors…. they failed.

We had termite start at one end of house up in nth gc and caught them in time… as neighbours were pulling their wooden window frames apart!
We had the house treated against termites for about the $3700 cost. But should be okay for 8 years.
One termite damaged window frame and skirting board was replaced by a tradie and did a good job.

We still check occasionally by knocking on wood!

And why didn't they sue the agent?

Is it the agents job to say what house is effected by termites or not?
If they are not qualified inspectors…

I did post the lie. First you complained that you couldn't see it, then you complained about me leaving the rest out.

Were the 'Inspectors' on behalf of the Real Estate Agents (you know, brother n'law or friend of a friend to fabricate it on behalf of the RE Agents)?
After which they had to get a 2nd opinion?

OK John, as a special favour, I got out the crayons, just for you.

Given that I was not there at the time. do you think you could fill us in on the rest of the story, or do you still insist that I do?

I'm not filling in anything.  You said a 'real estate agent lied'. Did you lie when you made that statement?

They obviously lied. They were proven wrong.
They didn't do their homework like '5-dogs' Smith once failed to do.

But they did:

Quote:
The Sarsons bought their two-storey home at Elanora on the Gold Coast for $660,000 five years ago,
after engaging a certified building and pest inspector who told them he carried out a thermal scan of the property's timber beams.

The inspection report seen by the ABC stated there was "no visible evidence of termite activity or damage".

"He just said, 'It's a good, solid house — you can't go wrong with this'," Ms Sarson said.
