Not so Kraft-y

I hadn’t bought peanut butter for a while and decided to go buy some Kraft peanut butter… only to see on supermarket shelves… like they were spread out (pun untended) in a dance … saying look at moiye and only moiye… was Bega peanut butter. In the same yellow cap and look almost as Kraft.

Then I decide to look up what happened to Kraft: far out I had no idea this was happening… basically during pandemic lockdowns too! Because all I ever hear during that time was COVID COVID COVID! Roll Eyes

Just ground peanuts that they'd grind while you wait. But apparently I didn't eat it regularly enough because without a bit of added oil it always became hard and unspreadable.

Same happened to us as well. Bought from a pharmacy that
ground their own nuts (ouch! why does that sound painful?) but
like yours, it became hard and impossible to spread without
breaking up the bread.

You probably eat it more regularly than I do. I love peanut butter but I don't eat it that often so it sits around for awhile.

A big jar lasts about a month. I wash it, then take it to the Boutique Health Food Store for a refill. About $25 worth.
I just have it on bread or toast as my 'snack' input here and there as I don't do a 'lunch' so to speak.
