"It's an analogy. Everything is an analogy"

Yes, it is.

The trick is to remember that, and not mistake analogy for Truth itself.

A fallacy exists in assuming that because two things are analogous in one or more respects, they are necessarily analogous in some other respect. This is very true.

It's a theory that checks the arrogance of those who would otherwise think they have a mortgage on Truth and a probable indication of a psychiatric disorder for those who will not be checked by it.

And the Universe (the New God) Consciousness of Galaxies, Black Holes, Supernovae, gases, dust and rocks: spoke in the words of an old man with a beard "Thou shalt not eat Pork on Sundays!"

This is the only and I mean 'only' example where there is a connection between Human consciousness and the Universe as a Consciousness.
It would be interesting to see the remarks about this and btw - where have you gone Mothra?
Maybe this is where/why the concept of the Universe consciousness truly manifested itself?

It's quite a mouthful for a theory. Your own?

Well, this 'new religion' has gone the way of all other religions cooked up by peoplecwho have never read anything written before they were born.

It was nothing new, of course. Only new to Goff and modern undergraduates like mother frightened.

I don't think either of us would argue that it's even remotely new, fruitbat. Although i am unworthy of speaking for him, i think it's safe bet.

There's absolutely no way though that i would have expected you to work that out. Or understand it now it's been pointed out to you.

The religious instinct is innate in the human psyche.

From personal psychic sensibilities to tribal/clan lore to cults to schisms to sects, the religious instinct is continually arising and evolving.

And you are not speaking from an innate instinct of the human psyche.

You are completely outside and above the "personal psychic sensibilities to tribal/clan lore to cults to schisms to sects, the religious instinct is continually arising and evolving", whatever the hell that load of bs is groping, in vain, to convey.
