Yup. Bans for bullshit reasons like “abuse” commonly expressed as “page after page of abuse.” Last time TVI™ and “Lisa Jones” posted abuse at me then the idiot banned me permanently for, you guessed it, abuse!

He has not yet made an environmental post!

He used to post all the videos by conman David DuByne then had a tiff and never posted anymore of those videos. Since then he has been completely lost as to what to do with the Environment board.

He would be fine in Fringe, post all the bullshit and conspiracy theories he wants.

I am ready to chip in $100 to get new software for OzPol. Possibly more.

Anyone else ready to chip in?

I suggest XenForo, excellent and modern software. Fast, flexible—my fine forum has FOUR styles, including white text on black background. A great search facility that can be extended for more $$$.

That should help retain existing members.

A critical eye on the performance of MRB Mods can help attract new members.

Critters and Gardens has added 13,000-odd posts since I won the election to Mod it despite a lengthy series of bans in 2021 that no reason can be found for.

Bobby has been Mod of Environment for rather longer than I have been Mod of Critters and Gardens and added about the same number of posts, 55,000 to 68,000. Pathetic.

Restricting the amount of abuse etc would also help attract and keep members.

Remove the Party boards—hardly any posts, posts from way back make OzPol look moribund. This would shorten the looooong front page. Maybe merge some MRBs, especially where the Mod has been absent for ages? Merge Books with Music or with Film, TV and Radio, merge Multiculturalism, Extremism and Islam. Can keep all the Mods in the merged board.

That would make OzPol look busy, active, current.
