Aahhh… now we’re getting to the crux of the problem.
Over 2 decades ago… I recall they were closing down more controlled mental centres to allowing patients out in “normal society” so in other words left for us in society to cope with.
When we’re visiting daughter in Bayswater back 20 years ago, we all knew of a place nearby where people with mental illnesses were living… freely to come and go …. and one guy was walking past the house where hubby was gardening … this guy had a solid stick in hand and was whacking neighbours letter boxes, knocking off adornments on fences and hubby yelled out “Hey! What are you doing!” And I saw the guy run off saying “I didn’t do it!”

I heard last week about yet another mental institution closing down in Melbourne, I then thought more loose nut cases in society. I forgot name and place mentioned but this means less treatments and medications to the ones that need it with mental problems.
Government is broke and cutting these services down. Thanks for nothing.

However, I wouldn't be surprised if he was some right-wing extremist either - the vast majority of domestic terrorist attacks in the western world are carried out by right-wing nut-jobs.
