Give 'im a job guarantee - she'll be right!!
Graps, the issue is crippling mental illness; not guaranteed participation in the economy.
Do try to keep up.
Be careful - you might be on a wakeup call from your deeply entrenched cover-all ideology!! Give it to big government so the Noel Pearsons can disappear the $140m set aside for developments in Far NQ
Well, I spoke to Pat Dodson about the old CDEP (which he knew about) and also about the more recent concept of the Job Guarantee with which Noel Pearson is acquainted; so I asked Pat to speak to Noel, to see if they could come up with some sensible policies for blacks that don't involve
the poverty industry (which is linked to the latest mental health tragedy; the man should have been in an institution that could have kept track of his mental condition, except for govt. running away from the funding issues).
Quote:.... captain's pick!! The Aruakoons are asking where the funding has gone already..... while THEIR town falls apart and disintegrates into tribal war ....
The sad thing is getting rid of the poverty industry (with a JG) would probably cost less than spending money on all the social dysfunction caused by maintaining the poverty industry.
Quote:I note the articles on that list all relate to pre-2016 statements; Pearson became aware of Bill Mitchell's work on the JG several years later.
Quote:Big government is SOOOOOO efficient..... only 92% of funding vanishes into 'administrative costs' with little to no oversight.... now then - where is Ms Price - she's still calling for oversight and control over funding and where it actually goes.... talk about a voice crying in the wilderness....
The problem is the current system (economic orthodoxy) is over-reliant on free-markets to determine the mobilization and distribution of resources.
Hence underfunding of social necessities, under cover of an expensive yet failing poverty industry.
Deplorable.
