Re: First day on the job
but not the first night?
It was his first day shift.
Either way kudos to him.
I agree, Setanta. Faraz came to our country, trained and got a job. A number of posters here say this is a bad thing.
We shouldn't have people come here to fill vacant jobs, they say. They steal jobs from Aussies.
And yet, those who say this are either immigrants themselves, retired, unemployed, on disability pensions or living overseas, taking foreigners' jobs.
Faraz, 30, they won't say his name.
It was his first day on the job.
Well he did escape his country because he was GAY !!!
Coming here to OZ
GAY
LIA where its safe and he wouldn't feel persecuted and attacked.
So he got a job where, like many jobs - the first day is the hardest and he got a disgrunted customer straight up like a Palestinian upset that the Plaza was run and owned by Jews.
Of course there are those who would have been angry at the sight of this man and his sickly shuffle of endorphined numbness for he himself was 'at peace' with his killing, knowing he was going to die because of it. They would have taken him out quite viciously and effectively - if given the chance. Just a pure 'reflex' action of knowing 'that violence'.
Fear is the Mind Killer and most wouldn't be able to think fast enough and thus - faced with the 'impossible', many hesitated, were confused, stunned and of course - scared of the 'legal' repercussions if they did anything at all.
Do you think Israeli people would have stopped him far earlier and more effectively?
I mean - they cop that stuff at least once a week in the middle-east, didn't you all know?
Me?
...well, I would have got out 'my knife'.
