People - wasting away in paradise.

Know it well, Bobby. The Summer of '82, the Woolloomooloo squats, the Manzil Room, French's on Oxford Street, Dr Wong's, gelatos at Bondi Beach.

Mandrax, Buddha, heroin, Panadeine Forte, many old friends, long gone. Those were the good old days.

And now it's full of people stabbing each other for no reason.

Christians. We warned you of this. A secular utopia fueled by automation and cheap drugs, we said.

Extend the dole to all who want it, no fortnightly forms. Rake in the mining royalties and fund the arts. Let anyone who wants occupy all the empty inner city warehouses.

Gentrification didn't help. The rise of Hillsong, the Howard years, fire regulations, pokies. Times changed. Values changed.

But for a decade there, things were all so beautiful. Now?

Sydney's unrecognisable. I remember a time there, when you'd head into the inner city, find any old house with a party, and rock. Empty pockets. You'd carry some drugs, a harmonica, or a story. You'd come back with stories.

If you ever needed an easy place to crash (and I mean crash), there were always the Indian Pacific sleeper carriages at the Everleigh rail yards - sheets so crisp and white.

But you didn't sleep for days. You'd wake up on Tamarama or even out at sea - that happened once. They were different times.

Today, Sydney is just another big, gentrified city full of walls and churches and people looking at their phones.

I know. I'm one.

Look how young Midnight Oil were. Ah, the good old days.

A migrant comes to this country, either in a scrotum, or a capsule, and kills one of the locals.
Who's sorry for that?

A Musso to be sure attacking a Christian of some sort....where will it end?

This is like the re-opening of the Frontier Wars here in Australia by 'governments' Enclosing the land to suit the First Lairds and give them private hunting reserves they never use and allowing them to 'legally' exclude everyone else from the best spots.

This can never end well....... nor can religious war in Australia....

Round up the Usual Suspects.... Gondwanamo is one step closer....

The bishop supposedly questioned Islam before being attacked.

I have a huge problem with people who cannot deal with an ideology being questioned or even ridiculed. This is Australia. Yes, we have no freedom of speech enshrined in the constitution, but it is a concept which is a core part of our culture.

I am a Christian and I am perfectly fine with my religion being questioned. It is nothing to get violent over.

Why is Islam exempt?

Because Australia is subservient to Islam.
Islam makes its own rules and Australia must bend the knee to Islam.

Alex Jones says those stabbings happen every day in Europe -
we are not used to it here in Australia.

Alan jones is correct.

I have lived several years overseas, France in particular.

However, Australia isn’t Europe and we must speak up and force our leaders not to turn Australia into a poor, poor persons Europe.

It’s very easy to just explain it all away and wait for the 24 hr news cycle to move on.

I would suggest this is why our political leaders are in the top ten of the highest paid in the world.

They are failing on every Kpi.

All the Western countries problems are caused by mass uncontrolled immigration
of 3rd world filth to where we live.

Why is it the same everywhere around the world?
Couldn't Australia be different?

He was a member of the Religion of Peace by the sounds of it. If this article is correct, then there are other young men who have been brainwashed.

Claims alleged terrorist teen was mentally ‘poisoned’ before Wakeley church stabbing

An alleged teenage terrorist had been mentally “poisoned” about religion in the lead up to stabbing a bishop at a church in Sydney’s west, according to those who prayed with him. The incident led to violent riots.

DAILY TELEGRAPH

The teenager charged over the Sydney church terror attack had been mentally “poisoned” about religion in the lead up to the horrific incident, according to those who prayed with him.

In an audio message on WhatsApp in the hours after the attack on Assyrian Christian leader Mar Mari Emmanuel on Monday, a man claiming to know the attacker said earlier that day he had been praying with the teen who had been “poisoned by a monster”.

“Sadly, sadly, sadly, that kid we prayed Dhuhr (prayer) with today,” the man said.“These kids have been poisoned by a monster ... this kid has been poisoned.”

It can be from feeling insecure about beliefs. The Vatican banned heresy and Church of England was the same when it began, with both being violent. Islam is a bit more insecure about the guy in a cave being the only one that god talked to about the meaning of life.

They have evolved and reformed .... Islam has not .... still the same for 1400 years.

The Irish troubles continue today. Islam is more insecure. The Assyrian church bishop also seems to need conflict and he got it.
