I cut down on alcohol, over the last month. I cut down on sugars in the last month. Last night, I slept about 5 hours. But, I feel pretty decent. I just need to have a lay down nap before I continue my house cleaning.

Sobriety sucks. But, at least we get more of the good things done right.

I put bread in the toaster. It is toasted. Then I put on some margarine starting from one side and moving across to the other side. The toast then has margarine. It is toast and margarine.

Nonsense... that is but a sign of the despair in your life.... GI Bill?  I was shocked when I first encountered such beings who had developed drug habits... my unit had no such things... Spartans and pure warriors.... heroes to the core....

Two brain scans man, looking for concussive brain damage... both normal - I laugh about that.  N-n-n-nothing wrong with m-m-my b-b-b-b-brain.

I'm on two quite powerful drugs: Alcohol and Lithium.

And because they're the only drugs I have, I do love them.

I tried to get high on Amanita Muscaria. I definitely identified the mushrooms right (they're the red one with white tufts on top) but despite drying them at 25 C ... then did absolutely nothing. I ate about five of them.

Not the first bummer of my drug taking career, I can assure you.

This is where Marla lives:

Colorado. A neighborhood taken over by a herd of elk bedding down.
(Don't know when or exactly which town in Colorado.)

A comment:

This is probably in Estes Park Colorado . I saw this in 84 when I hiked in the Rocky Mountain National Park . It happens twice a year as they migrate in and out of the Park . They get tired during their journey and they simply stop to rest 😁😁 This is what happens when you build a subdivision in the migration routes they have used for decades 😎😎😎 The neighbors just wait them out and resume their lives after they move on , no big deal

You are the wilting flower at the centre

Which one have you discovered?
'Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park is home to more than 400 different plants, including several rare species'.

What? is the 12 acre field of the 50,000 spindling LED lights included in the rare species?  Grin

Someone should tell so called "artist" Bruce Munro that he has stuffed up the view with visual & plastic pollutants.

Called the Field of Light it has no place in the natural environment of Ayres Rock/Uluru.

I've been telling myself I would start taking drugs again once I found the time and could afford them and by drugs I mean hallucinogens which are difficult to attain. But no longer! Two tabs of what I'm told is 100ug is just what the doctor ordered for my election anxiety. It's been so long (June 2024).

Anyway, two...no, three things must happen first:

1. Timing you know, when the chi or whatever is right in the universe.

2. Place Easy. Baily, Colorado. It's a shithole (and I do mean shithole) mountain town. There is absolutely nothing to do there which minimizes the event of possibly having a bad trip.

...
The Lake Erie of Colorado

3. Music For the past two years I've been collecting, compiling, contemplating my music list of the "perfect trip" I'll be posting that shortly. No, none of the "spacey new age" poo, either.

Here ya go, a copied and pasted article on what might happen to Marla's gray matter while tripping:

Music can evoke a wide range of emotions, memories, and other feelings and states of mind. We can often identify with music, and music can change the way that we feel about and think about ourselves...in the same way, music also engages a broad range of brain regions involved in memory, emotion, attention, and self-directed thought. LSD increases the degree to which these brain areas process music, and it seems to use a brain mechanism that is shared across all psychedelic drugs (serotonin 2A receptor signaling).

These brain changes during music listening and LSD may (hypothetically) be the mechanism by which psychedelic drugs can be therapeutic...these brain changes may uncover the underlying way that our brain makes meaning, with or without music and psychedelic drugs.

Here's some scientific mumbo-jumbp photo to make it look like I know what I'm talking about (which I don't)

...

This is why choosing the right music is vital. The price of these tabs alone are way cheaper than seeing a worthless therapist and more productive, too.

And since the world is about to be nuked, it's now or never.

Stay tuned.

By gee; By gingo; By crikey... you really are not a soldier among us, are you, Marla?

For your moral dispensation, the way to solve your weed addiction is to stay relevant.
