Bad, band time to come to America as a foreigner. I worked and lived in LA in the summer and can tell you there are a lot of illegals there. Mainly your kind. Oh, and limeys, lots and lots of limeys. The old "I did not know my student visa expired" excuse will not work anymore. Trump's going to send them all back - unless you're white, RuZZian or a Slovakian mail order bride.
That is fairly true. We have a lot of Australian and ex-pat Americans who have lived in Australia for years but have returned to the United States, living in Los Angeles at the moment. A lot more Australians live in New York. I would not be surprised if there are 400,000 Australians (of varying ethnicities) living in the United States.
I certainly know that there was a time back in 2012 or there abouts where the Americans (possibly as many as 700,000 people) were living in Australia as a type of refugees to what was happening in the United States. There was a call from people in the United States to have the Americans return to the USA. I know this because one of my customers would regularly interact with me and my co-workers. She was born in Australia. However, she spent her teen years and adulthood in places like Maine and northeastern regions like that. Her family did not want her to go back to the USA. But, she did have commitments over there, and had built a good reputation among her community.
I am part of a group of people that would probably cause a bit of havoc if we were to attend that Las Vegas NRL game this year. I could imagine that Americans would have labeled my peers as "those English people with strange accents" who know how to backburn properly or swim in the fountains near the casinos. Sadly, I depleted my funds on trying to maintain a family cohesive unit.
