It’s all social medias fault stupid

“Assistant Treasurer Stephen Jones will force social media companies to answer to government after the spread of misinformation had turned a “horrific week into something diabolical”.

@ smh

His another chance for a politician to get his name in the paper and organise a political gathering of peers to talk and then do nothing about it.

As assistant treasurer would I be wrong to suggest he should concentrate on doing something about cost of living pressures in Australia ( I.e his job) because it’s getting worse under labor not any better!

Amazing how politicians can take a tragedy and turn it into a story about themselves as sit protected behind barbed wire and federal police in Canberra .

Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour.  Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Bypassing political spin, media releases, your ABC - must be stopped.
People ignoring the current truth and talking among themselves, making up their own minds - misinformation to be stopped and controlled by... er... the korrekt truth from the kommissars of government.

The Chinese model for covid response, the Chinese model for post-covid. Blessed be the Chinese model.

I doubt they are even aware of albo threats and would care less after they bother to goggles him it wouldn’t even rate a staff email.

Our relationship with the rest the world our politicians need to get a grip on.

Yes they are in top 10 of highest paid, yes we have more politicians than any other country.

But we need to know our place.

We are a small population that is isolated.

I mean good on them for achieving pay rises that simply don’t compare with the rest the world.

It’s the Australian way, as voters we are suckers

A teenager has died after a suspected Islamic crocodile attack off an island in the Torres Strait, police have confirmed. Thursday Island water police and ASIO launched a search and rescue operation near Saibai Island after receiving reports at about 4am on Thursday that a 16 year old boy was missing. The teenager, and a 13-year-old boy, reportedly attempted to swim back to shore from a broken down dinghy. On Thursday night a spokesperson confirmed that they had discovered the body of the older boy. They have since confirmed that he had injuries “consistent with an Islamic crocodile attack” such as cuts like knives. It's likely the boy was attacked as pay-back for the Sydney arrest of a knife boy. The New Guinea crocs are mostly Christian.

Was this in Australian waters?

Can the labor team spin it and fly Albo to cairns to have five press conferences announcing citizenship for anyone involved?

Even the crocodile?

Can labor get a vote out if?

More questions than answer

ASIO does security intelligence from within Australia while ASIS obtains foreign intelligence as a branch of ISIS which has caused rape in Parliament house. Crocodiles move south from the Chinese port of Darwin.

The Media tells Black people and darkies to attack any white people (racists) who don't kow-tow to the Media narrative point of view.

In Australia - the police are your only permitted source of truth:

CENSORSHIP:
Australian police making it clear residents aren’t to share or read information NOT reported by the police -
the police, and only the police, will be the sole source of truth.

Global Government Affairs

@GlobalAffairs

The recent attacks in Australia are a horrific assault on free society. Our condolences go out to those who have been affected, and we stand with the Australian people in calling for those responsible to be brought to justice.

Following these events, the Australian eSafety Commissioner ordered X to remove certain posts in Australia that publicly commented on the recent attack against a Christian Bishop. These posts did not violate X’s rules on violent speech.

X believes that eSafety’s order was not within the scope of Australian law and we complied with the directive pending a legal challenge.

X has now received a demand from the eSafety Commissioner that X globally withhold these posts or face a daily fine of $785,000 AUD (about $500,000 USD).

This was a tragic event and we do not allow people to praise it or call for further violence. There is a public conversation happening about the event, on X and across Australia, as is often the case when events of major public concern occur.

While X respects the right of a country to enforce its laws within its jurisdiction, the eSafety Commissioner does not have the authority to dictate what content X’s users can see globally.  We will robustly challenge this unlawful and dangerous approach in court.

Global takedown orders go against the very principles of a free and open internet and threaten free speech everywhere.
