No, it's exactly the scenario described in the OP. No hugging bears, no sleeping with them. Only what's in the OP. If you don't understand what it says ask someone to explain it to you.

I think you've quite the nerve accusing anyone else of hyperbole in this thread, Ecky.

So now we're at "I'd rather be with a tame and timid bear than with a man".

You're really not doing very well at this.

At no point have i stated my preference.

Yet more hyperbole. Just to consolidate my point.

You're a blue-hairs, stupid hyperbole is where you live...

As you've stated, it's about a specific bear in specific circumstances... apparently!

Aren't you sick of being wrong? I mean honestly, i'm left gobsmacked at how a person could be so wrong.

It's most certainly not about a specific bear, quite the contrary. I never said anything even approximating that. What is wrong with you? It was you raving about specific bears, eating uppity women from the c~nt up.

It's a bear or a man. Pick one.

The OP goes on to say that the husband of the woman addressing the question to him in regards to who he would prefer his teenage daughter to be left along in the woods withimmediately responded with "which sort of man?" ... ""which sort of bear?".

And yet when he was asked about a woman or a bear, he immediately said "woman".

Now, for the casual observer, this tells us something. For you however, well you rant pointlessly about blue hair and women needing to be rescued by a man from being eaten from the c~nt up by a starving grizzly.

Can you see yet where you went wrong?

No?  Didn't think so.

But just in case i needed to point it out again ... also from the OP:

He most certainly needs someone to explain it to him. I've honestly never personally witnessed someone go off on such ridiculous and aggressive tangents from simply being posed with the example of other people being posed with a philosophical question.

Were it not for that last paragraph, i'd be lost for words.

Not only was i there, but so was my husband, daughter and son. And my daughter's partner. And most of my friends.

Good for you, but you know very little will get done don't you?

There must be no bail, at all, for the creeps who potentially might harm women

And jail terms must be doubled, with no parole whatsoever

Above all, red flags are to be followed up early, and women kept clear of the creeps once it's established things could get worse for them

Jesus, the page eventually turned ... only after a full pages worth had been filled.

So we are now on post 2 of a new page not showing ... waiting to fill this page up before it shows.

If that's not absolute bullshitm i don't know what is.

Maybe if Fleadriver paid a bit more attention to the technicalities of his forum rather than simply trolling his members, we wouldn't have to wait full minutes to find out our posts son;t show up anyway.

Aside from the killer nature of the bear, is its universal status in human cultures as a symbol of strength, courage, resilience, persistence and intelligence.

Given that blue-hairs and ham-twots tend to prefer the company of effeminate men, it’s less of a wonder what they’re really saying by their preference for bears over ‘men’.

Is that how you're justifying your stupidity now? By telling yourself that any man who questioned who the man was, was effeminate?

In light of the bear's universal status in human cultures as a symbol of strength, courage, resilience, persistence and intelligence, it's little wonder why bears were referenced, as opposed to other apex predators, such as crocs, sharks, or even snakes.

If they'd referenced snakes, crocs or sharks you'd be crying why didn't they use bears.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

The blue hairs are telling us that what they really want are men who are strong, courageous, resilient, persistent and intelligent... the opposite of their male friends of choice.
