It is 18°C outside right now. The weather has not gotten under 17°C since last night. Top temperature of 22°C today. Overcast. Expecting heavy rain tomorrow.

I have a doona on my bed. It has been pleasant to sleep upon.

I was dressed in t-shirt, heavy coat, long pants, heavy socks, running shoes, a skivvey and a cap. I was warm enough. But it was cold for a Rockhamptonite.

My front yard tree is starting to flower. That back tree I was talking about is getting healthier, despite me not doing much for it. The rain has really helped.

Grrr - the Eld Gel took to my passion fruit vine with the cutters and she thinks she's killed it.... it better make a comeback in Spring.... or she won't be here to see it...

Been giving the fruit away but just turned some into passion fruit butter... yummmm ...

P.S. still not very well so some fruit has fallen to the ground and rotted the shells... oh, well - maybe a jungle this Spring anyway... I'll put some in pots and distribute them anyway. Got tomatoes shooting from compost and must pot those as well.... never stops raining.

Make my people self-sufficient - get them to grow veg and fruit again... pity the Indians who built this place put that orange tree down the back in the shade and near the septic and in clay... shees ... bloody thing struggles every year and the Eld Gel wants it out... too big to transplant now. Beans soon.... coming up from deadfall pods last season anyway.... jungle garden due to my long recovery and inability to get out there and get down to it.

Meyer lemon.... yummmmm... perrrrrfect ...

I have moved the compost bin to the other side of the yard. If I can get the earthworms to gravitate over to that area, I should have that part of the yard looking nice and green. I might even move it again to another section of the yard.
