I offered a plausible possibility that Ms Donovan might well have had an attitude. Getting off a plane and trying to get a taxi, you could imagine that a passenger might be grumpy.
"Are you on f'n duty, or what?" might be something a grumpy disembarked plane passenger might say. Or maybe "f- off. I am not paying my fare" when they get to a destination.

The video posted detailed a possible explanation why taxi drivers won't pick up indigenous people. Too often, taxi drivers get fare evaders who happen to be indigenous. Unfortunately, my ex had the experience of getting chucked from a taxi, by a taxi driver who refused her service. She claimed that every other taxi driver had been polite and professional with her.

Just listening to an interview Ms Donovan is having, she sounds very aboriginal activist. She seems very down-to-Earth. But, if there was more to it than Ms Donovan is saying, the taxi drivers might actually have an excuse not to take her.

Obviously, the taxi drivers will have to shut their mouths about this and deny refusing service. Because from here on for a while, they are going to get targeted. Taxi drivers are likely to see an escalation of fare evaders until this matter gets resolved.

Wasted your time posting that video ... Smith & Co wouldn't accept that anecdotal example as a plausible excuse or reason why the incident may have happened.

A good point he made was that instead of crying racism and blaming the cab drivers maybe Ms Donovan should be blaming her Aboriginal brothers and sisters for the fare evasion that may have influenced the cabbies decision not to take her.
