I have seen Brian Ross interact with Muslims on here. He is afraid to ask them about Islam, beyond giving them safe prompts to trot out the usual propaganda. It's like he went out of his way to get lied to. I wonder if Brian was locked in a room with a Nazi wonuld he come out thinking the Nazi is just a normal person like Brian because they never discussed anything more substantial than what they had for breakfast. Or does he give himself permission to dislike Nazism in a way he does not allow for Islam.
His repeated position on this is entirely vacuous and meaningless.
Islam's outlook, value system and aims are totally different to the values, outlook and directions of modern Western secular countries. Islam is fundamentally incompatible with and opposed to almost every aspect of Western culture. This is not surprising since Islam is where it has always been: a pre-modern outlook and ideology than has not gone through the transformative experiences of Western thought and values in the last 500 years, from Renaissance, Reformation, Deism, Scepticism, Scientific and idustrial revolution, secularization, liberal democracy, freedoms of speech, conscience, though, enquiry, religion, etc.
Anyone who says that Islam is compatible with Western values and outlook is either totally ignorant or is a bareface liar, most likely both.
