Labor avoiding questions on renewables cost

Is there anyone within the ALP who possesses the necessary competence to inform Australians what the total costs associated with the renewable energy rollout are going to be? 🤔

Why did he avoid the question on what renewables cost?

AnAl avoids the question in Palrliament

Why do Labor avoid the questions on what renewables are costing taxpayers?

To achieve net zero by 2050 every wind turbine solar panel and battery we currently have will be in landfill and replaced before 2050

No answer is an answer

The cost of renewables has been plummeting for decades. They will probably be dirt cheap by 2050.

cause it's a stupid question designed to get the terminally moronic excited. Looks like it worked.

The costs for renewables vary from one form of renewables to another, and from one location to another, depending on what you are doing. Hydro has one cost, solar another, wind another ... there is no one answer.

The cost will double soon for anyone who installed solar panels 20 years ago. They have to replace them. If the first lot was $10,000, the second lot will be that, or more

What we do know!!!

NEW INDEPENDENT RESEARCH: NUCLEAR SIX TIMES THE COST OF RENEWABLES

An independent report commissioned by the Clean Energy Council and conducted by Egis, a leading global consulting, construction and engineering firm, has confirmed that nuclear is the most expensive form of new energy in Australia.

Did you factor in how much people save from free power from the sun dickhead???

From Phils link

Not only is nuclear up to six time higher, but that doesn't even include

Nuclear may be even higher cost than currently forecast as waste management and decommissioning of nuclear plants have been omitted by cost calculations in the relevant research available.

The libs are trying to scam the public again.

It it is all a scam....Nuclear energy is six times higher than Renewables and the cost of waste management and decommissioning of nuclear plants have been omitted by cost calculations in the relevant research available!!!

The only ones who will benefit are Mining Companies and the Political parties that profit from their continued operation....The scam is accepting Dutton's word when the evidence says the exact opposite....Who in their right mind would accept a policy based on fantasy with no costings or details....If Dutton does not know or will not tell the public what his policy is then how can anyone support it???

The thing that is annoying, is as Labor are in government, their costings will have to be realistic.

It's going to need to include things like transmission, replacing turbines and panels etc.

We know from opposition, Dutton can just lie.

They don't have to release accurate costings.

And they'll compare their lies to the relatively realistic figures Labor will have to release.

And that is being super generous and assuming Dutton and the Libs actually have an intention of building these Nuclear plants.

Not just trying to hurt renewables and push gas, only to then say "we couldn't get the regulator changes, the states are blocking us, oh no.... I guess we'll have to stick with Gas, screw the emissions targets.
