From what I'm reading, a security guy climbed up to the roof after a rally goer pointed his finger up there. The security bloke climbed back down when the shooter turned and pointed his gun at him. Seconds later, shots rang out towards Trump, getting it done in a hurry

The shooter's father is a registered Republican, but his mother is a registered Democrat, which probably caused some confusion in his mind

He may have registered with the Republicans perhaps because the head of the house did (his father). But it seems he was sympathetic to his mother's political leaning and maybe, in his heart, he was more of a Democrat than anything else

He may have also taken onboard the silent wishes of the many Democrat supporters to see Trump assassinated, and decided he would be the one to carry out those wishes, since no-one else had already tried

This is hard to watch.  Gets graphic.

Another Trump victim.

He was a good Christian who went to church every Sunday and worked as a volunteer firefighter.

Another life senselessly wasted as a direct result of the rapist & convicted felon Donald J. Trump.

I think it's the result of  the sort of maniacal, repeated, agitating, rhetoric espoused and spewed from the mouths and hands of people like yourself.

Shocking secret service caught red handed after Trump attack.
This is an epic failure for the secret service.
Former secret service agent Dan Bongino notices something about Trump attack that no one noticed.
Dan Bongino breaks down open security failures.

Gun violence is a US mental sickness that has afflicted 100s of millions of people.

I suspect that this incident will inspire copycats on either or both sides.

What poppy cock. You rethuglicans are so desperate for excuses you'll make anything up.  Cheesy Cheesy

Lots of republicans hate trump. Trump has done more to destroy the republican party than all the democrats combined. I'm not surprised one of them tried to take him out.

How did he get on to that roof?

They are up there looking at his dead body.

Why wasn't there a drone checking all the roofs around the area?

It doesn't add up.

The US is losing the war in Ukraine.

The US is losing the war on Gaza.

The US has now been exposed as losing the war on home-grown terrorists.

The failure of the security services to prevent the assassination attempt is a disgrace.

Didn't they think to use a surveilance drone ?

Budget cuts.

They need two SS agents full-time in the back of The Beast for diaper changes.

So, they had to take some money from 'Drones' and reassign it to 'Dookies'.

Questions will have to be asked about the security.

It was an obvious sniper location on a roof top
only 130 meters away from Trump.
No secret service people did anything about securing such a location.
Was it a conspiracy to kill Trump from the Deep State?

No, because they would have gotten someone who could shoot.

Edit, a good shot with an air rifle could have hit Trump at the quoted range and killed him.

How did he get on to that roof? climbed up the ladder, tree, stairs, roof top access from inside the building.
He'd need a ladder to climb up there.
How did the secret service get on to that roof?same way as the murderer
They are up there looking at his dead body.
