I cannot believe the whole abortion debate in America and how its being used to attack Harris. It is incomprehensible to me how Republicans can be against all abortions, no matter what stage the pregnancy may be at or what the circumstances of the pregnancy are.

They say that all abortions should be illegal, period. That's just wrong. What about a mother whose life is threatened due to medical complications if she continues to carry a fetus, or a woman who was raped and has become pregnant, or the conception of a baby that will either die prior to delivery due to or be born with horrific physical/developmental defects?

No woman who has been raped should be forced to carry her rapists' baby to birth. No woman should be forced to end their life because they aren't allowed to abort a pregnancy that puts them in mortal danger. It's just wrong. Republicans cite God and religion for their stance. I would like to think that God gave us intelligence in order for us to advance our knowledge enough to be able to do these things medically when necessary.
