I cannot believe the whole abortion debate in America and how its being used to attack Harris. It is incomprehensible to me how Republicans can be against all abortions, no matter what stage the pregnancy may be at or what the circumstances of the pregnancy are.

They say that all abortions should be illegal, period. That's just wrong. What about a mother whose life is threatened due to medical complications if she continues to carry a fetus, or a woman who was raped and has become pregnant, or the conception of a baby that will either die prior to delivery due to or be born with horrific physical/developmental defects?

No woman who has been raped should be forced to carry her rapists' baby to birth. No woman should be forced to end their life because they aren't allowed to abort a pregnancy that puts them in mortal danger. It's just wrong. Republicans cite God and religion for their stance. I would like to think that God gave us intelligence in order for us to advance our knowledge enough to be able to do these things medically when necessary.

Testify.

It would be a fine day for America when the care of living children mattered as much as the control over the bringing them into the world.

Welcome to Ozpolitic....all views discussed....

But I would suggest you stay away from debating actual policies, you are likely to expose your idiocy/incompetence.

eg, why would Harris want to run a Jew out of Mecca, since she supports Israel?

mecca is the holy place of the mozlems, a jew wouldn't last 10 seconds in that hell hole, they'd kill him, and saying kamaltoe couldn't run a jew out of mecca is just a way to illustrate what a useless mongrel she really is.

Ah...got it (but not a good debating point...more an opinion.)

Quote:
kamaltoe and the democrats have no policies lets see you name one policy that they are presently talking about to try and rope in voters..

Er... I listened to Joe's SOTU address: raising taxes on the wealthy is a Dem policy.

Quote:
btw, just like the rest of the democrats, kamaltoe hates israel, thats why she wants to stop giving arms to israel..

No; she (and the whole world) are  threatening to stop giving arms, if Israel persists with its genocide of civilians in Gaza.

Quote:
looks like you are the one who reeks of idiocy now hey pal.

How so?

and what if a pregnant "WOMAN" who plans to have a baby and at 9 months of pregnancy decides to abort it instead purely for selfish reasons and not medical reasons ?

where's the mercy abortion in a case like that, you might as well just have the baby then drown in it in the dunny.

What state in your Yankist sister-f~cking sh!thole does not define murder at viable birth?

could you say that in english ?

Yankists (dumbest c~nts since 1789).

What Yankist state does not call murder for the intentional causing of death after viable birth?

I think the issue is viable birth before, not at or after actual birth.

But if fathers knew they would be held responsible for the birth, including equal parenting responsibilities.... would society collapse?

So, which abortions do you support?

rape victims incest and of course life threatening situations to the mother, i know its what trump says, but i see no other reasons for abortion.

So, why are you talking about numbers of weeks?  If a rape or incest victim has gone almost to point of delivery, are you supporting a decision to abort if they choose to make that decision?

Roe V Wade allows Abortion up till 24 weeks.

The only abortions after 24 weeks are medically required and relate to the life of the mother or the viability of the fetus. i.e it is already dead or going to die.

I personally think that 18 - 20 weeks would be a better mark.

Keep focusing on crowd sizes, that's a great way to lose an election.

'Trump 2024’ is not a political slogan.  It’s an expiration date.

Kamala may not be bothered too much with appearing on TV's at this stage.
This will be all quite mindful and calm.
She is leading in the polls, keep doing what She is doing

' .......... she is taking her message directly to the American people. She hit a number of battleground states. I think we had 15,000 people in Detroit last week, 12,000 to 13,000 in Nevada. She’s been taking her message to the voters and drawing large crowds. So, she’s actually having those direct conversations. .......'

The vice president leads Trump 47% to 44% in Morning Consult’s latest poll released Monday, with 4% of registered voters surveyed selecting “someone else” and 4% saying they don’t know—the fourth week in a row Morning Consult’s weekly poll has shown Trump trailing Harris.

A Reuters/Ipsos poll released Thursday found Harris leads 42% to 37% when voters are allowed to say they don’t know who they’ll vote for, a shift from Harris’ 37%-34% lead in late July—but the lead shifts to just 49%-47% in Harris’ favor when voters who are unsure are pressured to answer.

A YouGov/Economist survey released Wednesday also found Harris is up two points, 45% to 43%, with third-party candidates, including independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr., on the ballot (voters were also given the option to chose other, say they wouldn’t vote or weren’t sure).

Harris built a three-point lead over Trump in a NPR/PBS News/Marist poll released Tuesday, polling 48% to 45% over Trump, though with a margin of error of 3.3 points, Trump remains in striking distance, while independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. falls well behind at 5%.

Harris also leads Trump by one point nationally in a CBS News poll released Sunday, in part because younger and Black voters said they’re more likely to vote and women indicated they believe Harris would favor their interests more (margin of error 2.1 points).

Gee....."One point"....see the problem?

Neither side is capable of presenting clear policies to reduce the cost of living and housing affordability crises facing the poorest half of the population.
