Taking the stage to applause at a high school in a suburb of Milwaukee on Tuesday, Ms Harris highlighted her experience as California's attorney general.

"I took on perpetrators of all kinds,” she said. “Predators who abused women. Fraudsters who ripped off consumers. Cheaters who broke the rules for their own gain.”

"So hear me when I say I know Donald Trump's type," Ms Harris added. "In this campaign, I promise you, I will proudly put my record against his any day of the week."

She sent 14,000  MK84   2,000 lb bombs to Israel to

drop on women and children in Gaza.

At least 25,000 women and children have died.

I’ve been thinking how it’s good for Biden to step down as he’s past being a good front person in one of the most powerful positions globally and all his fumblings makes many wince. And…. It’s not going to get better, it’s not.

I’m also thinking it would be interesting to have a female president, younger, experienced… and why not a female?

C’est la vie

She's obviously in her honeymoon period at the moment, and polls aren't very reliable this far out, but she's Trump's worst nightmare: a strong, intelligent woman of colour.

Fun times ahead.

There is no evidence of her intelligence.

And being a 'woman of colour' is no qualification for anything. But keep pushing the point that she is the DEI candidate, creep.

No reason whatsoever.

Literally, no reason - not even a constitutional reason.

"No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."

EDIT:

Sorry, I should have said no valid reason.

There are those who certainly have their reasons - those reasons being misogyny and sexism.

But as I said, not valid.  Certainly not in this century.

I like her, her hair is better than Trump's plus she's up for a flight/ entertainment.

I'm half half but before Biden fell on his wheelchair I was voting to Trump

You said it. A challenge and a nightmare for TRUMP, a woman of colour. As if  that was in any way a positive, even/especially against Trump.
She is Indian/Jamaican - nothing to do with black Americans.

Anyway, tint is no virtue. And what IS a woman nowadays?? Nobody dares to say for fear of offending the ladies with penises.

The Dems caught Trump and his camp totally of guard.

Trump made a throwaway comment about how her laugh sounds crazy and then Hannity later does a whole story, with a montage of her laughing, saying that other world leaders will just laugh at her, because of her laugh...

What..?

It's going to be Crazy Karmarla (as Trump would pronounce it), only he used that against Pelosi.

Trump said: "Have you seen her laughing? She is crazy. You can tell a lot by a laugh. She is nuts,"

He's run out of ideas...

Why did they not prepare for this?

My opinions of "Trump has won for sure now" are rapidly changing.

She's not the best stump speaker, but she's far better than she used to be.

But her true strength is in debating.  Sure, debating a normal candidate, not Trump, but she has him and his team rattled simply by actually running and nothing more.

She might be able to do this.

She might indeed, but don't get your hopes up. She's still an unknown black woman about to cop everything Fox throws at her.

My issue is that, to date, she's thrown nothing back. She needs to go in swinging. The candidate needs to put, as Sleepy Joe put it, a bulls-eye on Trump. Stop fucking around, Ksrmala, you've got two months to stand up and give Trump everything the voters want to hear.

Then - act beautiful. The future will be sweet. Jobs, infrastructure, business booming, an economy to die for. Better yet, the transition to a clean, renewable energy future.

Give it the old one-two: problem, solution. Trump represents everything bad about America, a legacy of its racist past. He's a fossil fuel man for God's sake. He wants to outsource energy policy to Chevron. He's a criminal, a rapist, a corrupt, wannabe Putin.

Why is Karmala even silent on this? Stick a guy like Gavin Newsome in as running mate and get him back on Hannity. Watch Trump's slurs turn shrill and hollow.

If Karmala stays lazy, she deserves to lose. If she continues to sit on panels hiding and giggling, good. Trump's in.

There goes Ukraine, Taiwan and the Pacific. There goes everything invested in solar and wind in the US - gone. There goes global free trade - blocked by a proposed 100% tariff in the world's biggest importer after the EU and Australia's second biggest export market.

That's the damage Karmala could impose on the world if she doesn't put on her boots and start kicking back.

This time, Trump's surrounded by a gaggle of yes-men and zombies. If Karmala can't brush the hair out of her eyes, get in front of a podium and give it straight to the cameras, we're all fucked.

So don't get your hopes up, Sad. Karmala has a steep learning curve and a lot to prove. The big fella's been doing this for the past nine years. He finished off Hillary. He can eat Karmala for lunch.

Or throw his plate at the wall. Either/or, no?

Never used the word "challenge".

I said: She's obviously in her honeymoon period at the moment, and polls aren't very reliable this far out, but she's Trump's worst nightmare: a strong, intelligent woman of colour.

Trump is a racist, misogynist, and coward.

A strong, intelligent woman of colour is his worst nightmare.

Nobody said being a woman of colour is a qualification.

Try this.  It might help.

Among voters under 35, 49% said in April or June that they would support Trump and 42% Biden, but now, 47% support Harris to 43% for Trump.

The same Black voters who split 70% for Biden to 23% for Trump in previous polling now break 78% for Harris to 15% for Trump.

Among Hispanic voters, Biden trailed Trump in earlier polling 50% to 41%; those same voters now split about evenly, 47% Harris to 45% for Trump.

Women split 46% Biden to 46% Trump in earlier polling, but now break 50% Harris to 45% Trump.

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
Yeah, right, Biden got more votes than O'bama and Harris will get more than Biden.
Honest.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

She probably will, yes.

And even if she doesn't win the electoral college - and subsequently The White House - she'll almost certainly win the popular vote.

Trump is very popular among his cult members, but not so much with sane Americans.

Yeah, watch those 3 am counts. That's when the magic happens.

Oh? Your DL can't sing the praises of mail-in voting enough. Vote by mail, he says, it's all good. We've fixed it all up.

So, like good cult followers with complete memory loss, the base's votes will be piled in with all those other 3am votes, and do you know?

It'll all be observed, just like last time, by Republican poll watchers.

And do you know again? Mike won't be there on Jan 6. Guess who the mob'll have the scaffold set up for.

You guessed it.
