Just for some context, the ASX 200 reached record highs at the end of January this year. It is still higher than it ever was prior to January.

So don't start buying just yet.

Sophia, I have always found using a credit card gets you the best exchange rate.

I certainly will watch for next couple weeks… our au compared to uk was .50cyesterday
Monday crap day is correct.
Today it went up a bit .508c

It irks me our au$ is worth only .50c to uk.
If I go there with $2000  au it’s only £1,000 uk
It must be expensive living in the UK
I wonder what the average wage earner gets per week?

Until the next cataclysm.

Rising cave prices are a leading indicator.

The share market has turned into a casino with too much borrowed
money being invested and also in 10 to 1 or more leveraged positions.
Japan banks stopping their zero interest money caused the latest plunge.
