My take on the US election
Aug 9th, 2024 at 9:19pm

Up until fairly recently, I was lamenting the fact (yes - fact) that Donald J Trump was more than likely going to end up back in the White House after steamrolling a very much geriatric Joe Biden. Biden had his faults but he was generally agreed to be a decent man and a pretty good President. Trump is nothing more than your typical schoolyard bully and is only in it for himself (and his family, to a lesser extent). I actually felt genuinely sorry for Democrats and swing voters in the US (and some Republicans who are apparently in the minority with their dislike of Trump) in having two elderly men around the 80 year mark running for arguably the most important office in the world. It was clear to blind Freddy that Biden wasn't up to it mentally and that Trump would wipe the floor with him. I had all but accepted Trump was going to win come November. But then we had the first Presidential debate and saw Biden made an absolute train wreck of it. In hindsight, I think it was a blessing in disguise for the Democrats and the beginning of the end for Trump. Biden eventually succumbed to pressure within his own party and Harris stepped up. Ever since then, Trump has been on the back foot and poll after poll has shown the race get closer and closer to the point where many now show Harris leading by some degree. Now, the election is very much in play. I believe (and hope) now that those who dislike Trump can see a viable alternative to him and will now come out and vote to ensure there isn't a repeat of his disastrous last four years in office. I also believe something Biden said very recently - if Trump does lose in November, there's no way he will accept a peaceful transition of power from Biden to Harris, nor will Trumps' deranged supporters, and that's perhaps even scarier to contemplate than Trump winning.

Armchair, that's unfair. Have you heard of racehorse theory?

It's most interesting. The big fella, you see, has superior genes. Scientific, innit.

Karmala Harris, and all the ooga-booga specimens they've installed to run America these days, are inferior in every way.

Now, if you had a choice, who would you want running the country?

Some half-bred, sub-continental Jigaboo with a bone in her nose?

Or a proud, white big swinging dick you'll never have to bother voting for again?

Yes, I agree.

The change from Biden to Harris has lost no votes.
Prior to her, some would not vote for Biden as he was too old.
Some would vote for neither trump or biden as they are both too old, men or white.
Some would not vote for trump for a number of reasons.

She has the votes from some people who want a leader less than 65 years old.
The votes from many females who felt unrepresented.
Votes from many coloured people who connect with Kamala Harris.

Biden did a lot better than I thought he would. He was too old when he started IMHO.

You need to stop playing identity politics and learn how to play by the rules of the game itself, Sprint.

The next election will be decided by maybe thirty county officials in five states.

There, they've got a bunch of sworn-in MAGA state employees with a better-paying job waiting in the next federal administration. Ten grand a year more with federal medical insurance. All they have to do is throw a few votes for Karmala out.

It's not hard to do, nobody's going to notice, and the swing states are rewriting the laws as we speak.

Five states, a lot of questionable signatures on their voter registration forms, and it's game on.

The big fella doesn't care. He can debate Karmala until the cows come home, it makes no diff. Those county officials just have to carry out their orders and it's four more years.

What do you think the big fella meant when he told his "lovely Christians" to vote for him one last time? Vote just this once, he said, and you'll never have to vote again.

He's got this one in the bag, as everybody knows.

Get real.

Kamala is not very intelligent -
you need an IQ of over 140 to be the President -
Reagan did -
so did Jimmy Carter -
Obama did -

Kamala would be around 115 IQ at most - she's a DEI hire.

Can't they find a clever candidate?

I know, Bobby, but the big fella's been searching for her IQ test results over in India.

He's got Investigators over there coming up with stuff that would blow your mind.

Talk about a bird-brain. We're talking sub-moronic levels - IQ scores like we've never seen before, maybe ever.

He aims to release it before the election. We'll have to wait and see what happens.

You can't say that, Bobby. Those nasty black journalists tried quizzing him, remember? So unfair.

The big fella didn't know what DEI is.

You?

Surely America can find a better candidate than cackling Kamala?

Oh, I see. You're saying Karmala's going to lose, are you?

Cunning. How were the polls for Sleepy Joe in 2020, Baron?
