Not surprised thats where the majority of the homeless end up. It's much more comfortable for them than sleeping on the streets of Melbourne or Adelaide in winter

I have slept like a homeless person in my life. Mind you, I was inebriated and passed out on the Neville-Hewitt bridge after a New Year's party. But, I got the idea of what it was like.

In 1998 I went down amongst the dead men and lived on the streets - quite an experience... not too many good people down at that level, or in a society that looks on such people through very biased glasses.  Part of my first book - love it or leave it.

I wonder if the Queensland government takes any responsibility -

https://www.news.com.au/finance/work/at-work/qbcc-whistleblower-reveals-dire-sta...

"And the problem is, once a decision is made, it’s virtually impossible to get it reversed. News.com.au has previously reported that if a customer appeals a decision, the QBCC has a 28-day window to review their case.

But if the government body can’t look at the case in that period of time, which is common, then the appeal just reverts back to the initial decision."

Unbelievable.
