The sad news is that Yellow China is going to do to your Russia, what it can't do to USA. You best put you grief with Ukraine to sleep. China has already retaken land off you Russians and audaciously has over 600,000 Chinese citizens occupying your lands and Putin knows it and is too scared to do anything about it.
China will destroy white Russia and black India - thus reestablishing Asia for the Yellow man.

Best you Russians come here to Australia if you want to keep living.

I know a different history of the dispersal of Europeans around the world.

If we take the era following the period of the early Renaissance, we see the wanderings of the Portuguese and Spanish discoverers. All of today's Latin America is the result of these discoveries. Therefore, I cannot accept your opinion that the Southern Europeans sat motionless in their territories.

And the Celts and Germans, i.e. France, Germany, Britain and Holland, divided the rest of the world among themselves and settled in North America, Australia, Africa and in addition colonies in Asia.

But why you decided that Slavs migrated to Australia is completely incomprehensible to me. I have never heard of any significant migration flows of Russians, Bulgarians, Czechs, Poles or other Slavic peoples to Australia.

As for the Scandinavians, after settling in Iceland a thousand years ago, their migration flows ceased.

As for the Russians, in the second half of the 16th century they began to subjugate the lands beyond the Ural Mountains, then there was the development of the territories of Siberia and the Far East, as well as the Caucasus and Central Asia.

Friend, it is indeed strange to you.
Because it is 'new' to you.

Would you follow the 'true Western' political way of Great Britain, that is adapting, evolving with the times thanks to its 'sharing' with its Colonies (Commonwealth) who help take it into the future?
Or would you follow the 'archaic Western' that began as the ancient Athenian & Roman politics and is still adhered to by France (Germany did as 'Nazis'), Italy and even - yes, the USA (which rejected the British way via its War of Independence from Britain and 'dependence' on all things German, French and Italian/Greek).

Understand that the 'West' of Europe is Politics.
The 'East' of Europe is Art.
Both are industries of the 'Right'.
While the Lefties of Northern and Southern Europe are best served like Music in a Restaurant. Wink

The World is not in the right shape so to speak.
Hence 'conflict' (when nations chase their weaknesses or/and hold onto all that is old and lost to them).
I'm just showing you where the pieces 'fit' in harmony.

Russia will soon be 'practically' destroyed soon by 'Yellow' Asia.
You think they are your 'ally'?
They'll wait till Russia drains itself fighting their fellow 'Slavic' brothers and then the Yellow China will (get revenge for what the USSR did to it) unleash upon the now 'weaker' Russia.
Yellow Man sees resource rich Siberia as a good investment and a return to the north for the Yellow Race.
Invading Russia, is a far better, less costly and more profitable alternative for China than crossing an entire Ocean to fight the USA directly.
Only 'anti-USA' North Korea could bring conflict between USA & China.
Tell me>? What 'advantage' would there be for China to 'invade' North America? Re-establish a Tee-pee?

Make peace with your 'Slavic' Brothers east of your Russia.
For Russia is between a Rock and a Hard Place (Yellow Asia) if it doesn't.

Do this. Because China 'will' get its revenge regardless.

On the 22 July 1816 an English ship with cargo of convicts – "Atlas" – entered the harbor of Sydney. Amongst the newcomers there was a tall dark-haired brown-eyed man with pale emaciated face with one blind eye. The roll call began. "Constantine Mil-cow-w!" – a local warden, receiving the live cargo, yelled with a falter. And Constantine which didn’t even try to explain that his surname in reality was "Milkov", habitually confirmed that he was Milcow, native of Moscow, 33 years of age, breaker by trade, sentenced in London on 10 May 1815, sent to Australia for seven years.

He had black hair, dark eyes, olive skin. Even the surname "Aurora" causes doubts, as it’s typical of neither Slavic, nor other European languages. Obviously it was his alias or nickname. He was exiled for life to Australia. He arrived in Sydney on the "Earl Spencer" ship on 9 October 1813. But over here his tracks are lost. He either changed his name once again, or died, or escaped…

Read Dr Elena Govor – historian and author of the books that were published both in Australia and Russia in English and Russian.

China prefers Australia as easier target in the way of resources, That's why it develops navy more then ground forces.

Wow Tallowood. Never knew there were Slavs among those Slaves (convicts). Interesting.

China still gets heaps of resources sold and sent to it by Australia, which it builds it's immense War Machine with. China already has Australia under its thumb. Nothing more than that annoying piece of chewing gum under the shoe as a military threat.

As historical information this is interesting, but as evidence of the existence of a powerful flow of Russians to Australia it is very weak. Only 31 people, of whom only one was indisputably Russian.
