At the low end of estimates, about half a million lives are extinguished through abortion in the United States each year. According to the Pew Research Institute, about 1 percent of those abortions occur after the third trimester of pregnancy begins.

Ah.

So mothra was right.

"The overwhelming majority of abortions occur in the first trimester."

Thanks for confirming that, old boy   Wink

So are we to consider those 5,000 lives barely a blip on the radar? No campaign manager worth his or her salt is going to advise a candidate to spend time harping on a perceived injustice that doesn’t happen 99 percent of the time. Why bother?!

One could make the same sort of argument about serial killers. Why make a big deal out of the Richard Ramirezes, John Wayne Gacys, and Jeffrey Dahmers of the world? The percentage of murders committed by serial killers is incredibly small in the scheme of things. Why make noise about them when they matter so little?

Because lives always matter. They matter if the lives in question are just beginning, in development, about to emerge, living with challenges, suffering, or near the end of temporal existence. The culture of death that the abortion rights movement embraces desperately attempts to carve out categories for whom the defense and importance of life shouldn’t matter, devaluing the troublesome so that the privileged may thrive.

No wonder you ignored all that, evil turd.

And in MOST of those cases, abortions were performed to save the life of the mother or prevent dire health consequences or because the baby was nonviable or in for a utterly miserable life of excruciating pain.

How many times do you need to be told this?

Mother, the old boy agrees with you. He's as pro-abortion as you are, dear.

He's just toosh you'd raise such a delicate issue in the American context.

So nasty, so divisive, so typical of the leftards.

SO UNFAIR !!!

Absolutely nobody is pro-abortion, dear Fisk. What we are is pro-choice.

The loonies over yonder like to pimp that we a re pro-abortion ... and stuff about pizza parlours and all sorts of things that utterly bamboozle me.

I just know i like girls and women to be able to have a choice. You know. Like men do.

Frank prefers The Handmaid's Tale method.

I know, right? The old boy likes Danish.

He's a little bit naughty.

‘A Fetus Should Not Be Treated Like A Human,’ Says Woman With Cat Named Dave That Wears A Sweater

...

BRENTWOOD, CA — Local woman Tara Maeser told friends she couldn't believe some people consider a fetus to be a human while also asking everyone to look at her adorable cat, Dave, wearing his new argyle sweater.

"Look at widdle Davey! Isn't his widdle sweater just the sweetest widdle thing in the world?" Maeser commented. "Anyway... I can't believe people think an unborn human is a human. It's just scientifically not a human! Oh, look at Dave! He's sitting in his iddy-biddy widdle stroller and looks just like a baby!"

Maeser had reportedly been arguing vehemently with pro-life friends this week on whether or not a human fetus was, in fact, human. Pointing to evidence that since a fetus was dependent on the mother to survive, Maeser said there was no way it could be considered an actual human, all the while holding her feline friend, Dave, whom she'd just decked out in a little coat and an adorable pink scarf.

"She told me a fetus wasn't a human, which is weird because she calls herself a ‘cat-mom' and is always buying clothes for Dave," Maeser's friend Amy Smoot said. "One time she yelled at me for reminding her Dave was a cat and not her actual child."

At publishing time, Maeser had last been seen arguing with a friend over whether or not a human could be ‘illegal' all the while screaming for the arrest of people who share memes she disagrees with.

And the kicker is, fruitbat, that that imaginary woman still has more of a right to voice in that debate than you do.

I cannot fathom how many Republicans want a total, unbreakable, blanket ban on all abortions - period. They don't want a child (or any age) rape victim to be able to get an abortion so she doesn't have to carry the baby of her rapist. They don't want a woman to have an abortion because to continue with the pregnancy would certainly result in her death and that of her unborn child due to a medical condition. They don't want a victim of domestic violence to get an abortion because she was forced to have sex and doesn't want to bring a child into an abusive life. They don't want a woman to have an abortion because the fetus has been found to possess genetic abnormalities that would result in self-abortion later in the pregnancy or the baby being born with horrific physical abnormalities. To insist upon a blanket ban on abortions is abhorrent and such a position is indefensible.

That was quite literally the dumbest thing Vance has ever said, and he's said a lot of dumb things!

This would not be the first or only woman that trumps legal change he boasted about has murdered.

Quote:
..........  Thurman, who was pregnant, took abortion pills, but did not expel all of the fetal tissue from her body, a rare complication.
She needed a routine dilation and curettage to remove the tissue, but the procedure was now a felony in Georgia.
A doctor who performed the procedure could be prosecuted and sentenced to prison.
ProPublica reported that doctors monitored "her infection spreading, her blood pressure sinking and her organs beginning to fail."
By the time they operated, it was too late.         ...............

The "lady" bit should have been your clue. And that fact seriously shouldn't have needed underlining for you.

How was your pregnancy and labour, fuitbat? Gestational diabetes? Preeclampsia? Placental praevia? Accreta, increta or percreta? Or any of the other gazillion things that can go wrong and like, kill women. which you're not.

Vaginal birth or c-section. If c-section, voluntary? any complications?

What did you use for stretch marks?

Did you have morning sickness. old boy? Did you vomit everything you even thought about for months on end?

I'm sorry fruitbat, what did you do or risk?
