Everyone knows he's taking credit for this because he's said so and also because he's taking credit for altering the make-up of the Supreme Court, which made this decision. It couldn't have happened without Trump stacking the court with conservative Justices. I think it's wrong - the Supreme Court should be balanced, not skewed toward one end of the political spectrum.

I don't get how he describes 50 years of failure. What failure? Women had every right to take care of their own reproductive health themselves until Trump came along. Now we have some states even considering enacting legislation that would make it illegal to leave that state to go to another in order to have an abortion. That's just wrong.

Change the State laws then.

The point is:who makes the applicable laws. In a federation, it is the states. That is the case in Australia, and now in the US.
