Putin wants Russia to return to its former Soviet glory when it owned half of Europe
and forced it into communist slavery.

They lived lives of communist misery until Dec.1991.
No wonder they all wanted to join NATO to keep the Russians out -
they were right as Putin invaded in February 2022.

I met people who told me what it was like under communism -
in Poland people lined up for 3 hours to get a loaf of bread for their family - if they were lucky.
Communism brought misery to Europe.

Europe and particular France and Germany is the birthplace of communism while Britain was it's cradle.
