I am an assimilationist.

I will denigrate people who move to another country but refuse to assimilate but insist on living by the cultural norms and customs of the country they left behind.

I denigrate them because they are harmful to the cohesion and social solidarity of the country and culture that has taken them in.

Acherkouk, who was aged in his 30s, was shot multiple times in his car by balaclava-clad assassins at Surry Hills BP before running from his pursuers and collapsing at the busy intersection of Crown and Cleveland streets a short time before 8pm on Friday.

Sources told the Daily Telegraph the hit was “meticulously planned”, with CCTV footage capturing the moment Acherkouk, who was alone, fled his vehicle before running from the petrol station and up the road.

Grizzly footage of the shooting shows the two gunmen, gowned in ponchos to hide their body shape and skin colour, jumping out of a Porsche and running up to Acherkouk’s car, opening fire on the unsuspecting target.

After the shooting, officers from the Eastern Beaches Police Area Command discovered a Porsche was set alight on Kensington Road, Kensington following reports of a car fire.
