Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour.  Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Jokes aside that's a good idea... I notice, however, that when they claim land in - say - Coffs Harbour - it's the finest ocean front and not the fish trap territory .... you can't trap fish in the surf, build sand and rock walls etc... washee, washee ..

I'd like to know what or who they in danger from?

I doubt any non-indigenous people did, do or will any damage to them.

Nothing stopping Mornington Island and Doomadgee Aboriginals from maintaining them.

Well - there could be a chance of catching some world heritage in a stone fish trap... not quite aquaculture though - that requires breeding and growing stocks of fish....

More like Pascoe's quackaculture - not to be confused with growing flocks of ducks... they'd eat all the fingerlings....
