I notice, however, that when they claim land in - say - Coffs Harbour - it's the finest ocean front and not the fish trap territory .... you can't trap fish in the surf, build sand and rock walls etc... washee, washee ..

I doubt any non-indigenous people did, do or will any damage to them. Nothing stopping Mornington Island and Doomadgee Aboriginals from maintaining them.

More like Pascoe's quackaculture - not to be confused with growing flocks of ducks... they'd eat all the fingerlings....
