To all dads, granddads, great granddads….and thoughts of those that have passed…
Hope you all have a pleasant day enjoying whether on own chilling out or amidst activity.
We are going to peninsula to son’s place for bbq, his in laws will be there too and his mum in law recently retired from full time work (she’s 71) just had a mild stroke, learning to talk properly again from therapy …. What is it with stopping work then crap like that happening?
Anyway… look forward to going to watch the energising sea afterwards as it’s been quite windy and wild here lately… unlike Qld having a heatwave and hottest August on record.
Cheers for now.
Thanks .... didn't do much yesterday. Went to Bunnings & bought another electrical tool ... a 1500 watt jack hammer drill.
Then commenced to break the concrete off the bottom of some steel fence posts I'm resurrecting for a small fence job ... girls next door pulled down their 900mm weldmesh fence, replacing it with a 6ft high hardwood fence .....
I've got a few panels of weldmesh & some posts that I had to smash the old concrete off.
I had a go with a short handle heavy sledge hammer and cold chisel.... too much hard work & I wrecked one post putting chisel through it in 2 places.
Jack hammer drill made short work of busting concrete off.
Happy Fathers Day ..... and beer o'clock at 3 o'clock.
