'Ere we go, lads and lassies.... I'd advise a look at this map to see how many there are already, and all in built-up or population dense areas:-

Brazil is set to win the world fires championship after a record-breaking run of success.

Amazing the designated unfortunate areas fired are apparent. All nice coastal areas.

Portent of doom after warm winter and sizzling start to spring with forest fires?

Is AGW generating its own positive feedback from forest fires.

Please don't thank me. Effusive fawning and obeisance of disciples, mendicants, and foot-kissers embarrass me.

We used this website last time, it is good but have time lag. We also used local fire control center radio frequency to monitor (listen but do not talk) situation in real time. Contact your local SES for that.

In Siberia and the Russian Far East, a million hectares of forest are being ravaged by flames. Regulations and public management are being questioned. Since the beginning of the year, fires have destroyed an area the size of Normandy. US Marines are landing on the beaches and firing the forests with victory in sight.

A useful tool during fire crises - they were overwhelmed during 2019 fires and just stopped updating - fires were way beyond that and it was all hands on deck.

Just click on the symbol for a fire and details will come up about its status etc.  This early with cool nights might not be so bad, but it all started with September 2019 - I have videos of it.. local fires.  This time if it breaks out big-time I plan to do a fuller video.

Our local fire here is Usual Suspect - same place as repeat fires in 2019-2020.

The songlines of the fire spirits are broken and the spirits are hurting - need is great to restore balance through proper fires.
