Anyone see the WTC at the AFL final?

Yesterday saw the biggest cringeworthy Welcome To Country ever to be performed at a sporting event.... the AFL Final between GWS & the Brisbane Lions.

A bloke named Brendon Kerin delivered not what would be considered a welcome ....

but a rude, angry, racist & ficticious lecture that was neither friendly or factual.

During it he supposedly explained that "welcome to country" had been being done by Aboriginal people ... not for 40,000 years, not for 50,000 years, not for 65,000 years but for .... wait for it....

250,000 years. Grin

That's right 250,000 years & to top it off he said - 250,000 years BC - with BC being clarified as "Before Cook" ..... never mind it was so long ago that it was 50,000 years before modern man/homo sapiens evolved. Roll Eyes

Where do they find these idiots? How are they allowed to go unchecked with their utter politically driven activist agenda BS?

This bloke also claiming he was an "educator" ... what a joke... if it wasn't so serious it would be ... sprouting this BS on the national stage in front of children.

Yet that's exactly what their aim is ... fill their own & everyone elses childrens heads with bullshyte.

Way past time for this to be dumped in the garbage bin.

Did they give a Welcome to Country to each successive wave of Invaders up until the last lot who brought the Deadly Dingoes of Fraser Island - an introduced species that wreaks havoc on the native wildlife and causes extinctions while their Invader owners wrought havoc across the land in their territorial pursuit of 'their land'??

Outstanding caretaking there... time for this rubbish to end.

Come on, Queensland - let's hear the 'truth-telling' up there.... Labor up there getting in before the inevitable disaster at election time... give the next government all the headaches of increased activism and violence etc and refusal to abide by the laws of the land.

Aborassic Park is sounding better by the day... resettlement in the North West somewhere....
