Unlike the ABC, here is some brilliant reporting on Channel 7's Spotlight program:

Heston Russell is now requesting a meeting with the managing director of the ABC. If they refuse, they may have to go back to court.

Heston says "I thought I was fighting for my life"

Yeh...well that's what happens in war - you shoot people and they shoot back; war turns everyone participating in war into murderers.

The real war crimnals are the governments who refuse to institute the UN machinery necessary to "save mankind from the scourge of war" (UN Charter)

Publicly funded or not, EVERY news organisation should endeavor to report the truth. That it is privately owned and therefore can lie is a ridiculous position that the right have been pushing for decades now.

There is NO moral or ethical position the right won't trample over if it means it pushes their agenda.

Being a member of the ADF, serving overseas, does not exonerate ANYONE from committing war crimes, murdering unarmed civilians - and then lying about it in court - nor SHOULD it.
