Lebanese foreign minister fears "introduction of war" after 2 days of device explosions

Lebanon’s Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib told CNN he fears that theconsecutive deadly attacks in Lebanon signal a move to an “introduction to war.”

The foreign minister’s comments come

after walkie-talkies exploded in the country

a day after pager blasts killed at least 12 people.

“It’s a scary moment and we are afraid (of) coming to war, because we don’t want a war,” said the foreign minister, who blamed Israel for the attacks. “There were skirmishes on the borders, sometimes escalated (…) but now you’re talking about a war, it’s the introduction to a war,” he said, calling on the United Nations Security Council and United States to help reestablish peace along the Lebanon-Israel border.
“We cannot talk to Hezbollah now in the way we were talking to them in the past because, of course, they were hit very badly and therefore retaliation is a must to them,” he added.

CNN has learned that Israel was behind Tuesday’s attacks, though Israeli officials have not commented on either day’s attacks.
Dozens of walkie talkie blasts: Preliminary information on the walkie-talkie attack suggests there was between 15 to 20 explosions in the southern suburbs of Beirut, and a further 15 to 20 blasts in southern Lebanon, a source said.

This is so interesting! It is like a spy movie. First, Israel have to penetrate deep into the ranks of their enemy. Find out where they sourced the pages and walkie talkie. And meticulously working with the manufacturers to install those explosive into the device.

Note, both pages and walkie talkies are small devices. So, to add explosives to these small devices without the end user's knowledging, meant it was done meticulously. E.g. at least the original adhesive would still had to be in place, and it does not look tampered.

And what about those explosives? If they are from Israel, who did they even get into the device? Someone had to import enough explosives to injury thousands, it is no small feat.

And lastly... the Taiwan company is accusing a Hungarian company of tampering. The same company is just a shell company. But how did they even get around EU sanctions and sold these devices to a listed terrorist organization?

So many questions. There is alot more to this story.
