No, I think at minimum, they are waiting for their illegally occupied land to be returned to the Palestinians, and stop any further illegal expansion. To that end.... I dont think this is going to stop. And so, the cycle of violence will go on.

There is no stopping. Too many have being killed. People want their land back. People want to take vengence for the death of their families. It will not stop now.

On Tuesday night, following the radio device explosions in Lebanon and increased security tensions, Lufthansa and Air France announced the cancellation of flights to Israel.

The German Lufthansa Group stated that all flights to Israel are canceled until Thursday, September 19 (inclusive).

Air France, Transavia Extend Israel Flight Suspension Until Friday Amid Lebanon Escalation

The French and Dutch airlines have announced that they will not resume flights to Ben Gurion Airport before September 20. British airline Virgin Atlantic stated it will resume its Tel Aviv-London flights as scheduled next week

French airline Air France has extended its suspension of flights to and from Israel, announcing on Wednesday that it will not resume flights to Ben Gurion Airport before September 20.

Dutch low-cost carrier Transavia Airlines has also announced that it will cancel its flights to Israel until and including September 19.

British airline Virgin Atlantic, which operates the Tel Aviv-London route, has stated it will resume flights to Israel on September 25 as originally planned.

I was referring to the people who lived there locally for many generations before the purge in 1948, and also the people who were forced to flee after expansion of illegal settlements. After fall of the Ottoman empire, these people were used to be under protection of Britain. But they were expelled or fled from their homes, at first by Zionist paramilitaries, and after the establishment of Israel, by its military. People want those lands back.

That actually may be true! I have a keen interest in European history particularly around the Crusades and events of world war 1.

In 1916, T.E Lawrence was posted to Hejaz, in modern Saudi Arabia, to work with the Hashemite forces. His role was to act as a liaison officer between the British government and the Arab tribes. The British were attempting to rally the Arabs against the ruling Ottoman Empire. And he was successful. The original deal was the Arabs supposed to be given an independent Arab state that would include modern day Saudi Arabia, all the way to Iraq and Syria.

Of course, they were deceived. After the war, Middle East was partitioned, and the lands were divided up like spoils of war between Britain and France. And The British Mandate for Palestine was born.

In an act of protest, T.E Lawrence refused to accept medals from the King, and wrote repeatedly to newspapers to promote Arab independence.
