But one Hezbollah operative told the AP news agency that the pagers were a new brand that the group had not used before. A Lebanese security official told the Reuters news agency that around 5,000 pagers were brought into the country about five months ago.

Labels seen on fragments of exploded pagers point to
a pager model called the Rugged Pager AR-924.

But Taiwanese manufacturer Gold Apollo has denied any involvement with the explosions. The founder, Hsu Ching-Kuang, said his company had signed an agreement with a European based company - BAC - to manufacture the devices and use his company name.

This was an act of terrorism. The owner of the company that owns the brand name is apparently already in police custody.

He is claiming he authorized another company in Europe to manufacture the devices.

The company he named doesn't exist.

However, there will be a money trail and a correspondence-communication trail if he is not directly complicit. If he is directly complicit he will need to be convinced to be truthful.

The act of terrorism was committed by Israeli Jews who murdered people for entertainment.

If the devices were manufactured in Europe this would be a test of the bonafides of Interpol and other EU police agencies.

It will also be a test for the credibility of the US and the West in the GWOT.

yes - I searched for the company BAC - and there is no such company advertising Pagers.

see Reply #36 - Today at 2:47pm.

The company said in a statement that the AR-924 model was produced and sold by BAC.
Hsu earlier said that the firm with the licence was based in Europe
but later declined to comment on BAC's location.

Exploding Pagers were made in Hungary

The company is probably a bogus front for Mossad, Shin Bet or the IDF.

Some Hungarians will evidently have some questions to answer.

The Taiwanese guy is evidently complicit for licensing the manufacture of his products to a terrorist entity that may not even exist.

The pursuit of the terrorists is heating up. The trail will end in Israel where the perpetrators will be holed up.

... But the Taiwan-based company said in a statement that the AR-924 model used in the attack was manufactured and sold by a Hungarian company called BAC Consulting, which had a license to use its brand on the pagers.

“According to the cooperation agreement, we authorize BAC to use our brand trademark for product sales in designated regions, but the design and manufacturing of the products are solely the responsibility of BAC,” Gold Apollo’s statement said. “Our company only provides the brand trademark authorization and is not involved in the design or manufacturing of this product.”

POLITICO did not receive a response when attempting to contact BAC on Wednesday morning.

The Taiwanese firm’s founder and president Hsu Ching-kuang told reporters that there had been problems with the company’s money transfers coming from BAC. “The remittance was very strange,” he said, according to Reuters, adding that the payments came through the Middle East, but without going into detail. ...

https://abcnews.go.com/Technology/wireStory/gold-apollo-pagers-exploded-lebanon-...

The AR-924 pager, advertised as being “rugged,” contains a rechargeable lithium battery, according to specifications once advertised on Gold Apollo’s website before it was apparently taken down Tuesday after the sabotage attack. It could receive texts of up to 100 characters.

It also claimed to have up to 85 days of battery life. That would be crucial in Lebanon, where electricity outages have been common after years of economic collapse. Pagers also run on a different wireless network than mobile phones, making them more resilient in emergencies — one of the reasons why many hospitals worldwide still rely on them.

Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs said from the beginning of 2022 until August 2024, Gold Apollo has exported 260,000 sets of pagers, including more than 40,000 sets between January and August of this year. The ministry said the pagers were exported mainly to European and American countries and that it had no records of direct exports of Gold Apollo pagers to Lebanon.

For Hezbollah, the militants also looked at the pagers as a means to
sidestep what’s believed to be intensive Israeli electronic surveillance on mobile phone networks in Lebanon.

TRAIL LEADS TO BUDAPEST

The senior Lebanese security source said the group had ordered 5,000 pagers from Gold Apollo, which several sources say were brought into the country earlier this year.
Gold Apollo founder Hsu Ching-Kuang said the pagers used in the explosion were made by a company in Europe that Gold Apollo named in a statement as BAC.
"The product was not ours. It was only that it had our brand on it," Hsu told reporters at the company's offices in the northern Taiwanese city of New Taipei on Wednesday.

The stated address for BAC Consulting in Budapest was a peach building on a mostly residential street in an outer suburb. The company name was posted on the glass door on an A4 sheet.

A person at the building who asked not to be named said BAC Consulting was registered at the address but did not have a physical presence there. Several other companies were also registered at that address though none answered telephone calls and physical inquiries from Reuters.

The CEO of BAC Consulting, Cristiana Barsony-Arcidiacono says on her LinkedIn profile that she has worked as an advisor for various organisations including UNESCO. She did not respond to emails from Reuters. The company website makes no reference to manufacturing.
The senior Lebanese security source identified a photograph of the model of the pager, an AP-924, which like other pagers wirelessly receive and display text messages but cannot make telephone calls.
Hezbollah fighters have been using pagers as a low-tech means of communication in an attempt to evade Israeli location-tracking, two sources familiar with the group's operations told Reuters this year.

Israel is a terrorist state. It will be implicated in the act of terror in Lebanon.

Even the MSM is chasing the evidence on the act of Israeli Jewish terrorism.

The UN is about to have a vote to compel Israel to withdraw from Gaza and the West Bank.

Setanta and Bvr will have to gather in Bvr's garage with other terrorists and mourn the end of Israel's occupation.

Israeli Jews have no good choices because they have committed heinous acts of mass murder, genocide, and crimes of occupation.

I wonder where the factory is that made them?

My bet is that the batteries were fake and had the explosives added inside.

They only hate jews, so NP.

From the inception of Hezbollah to the present[21][22][23][24] the elimination of the state of Israel has been a primary goal for Hezbollah. Hezbollah opposes the government and policies of the State of Israel, and Jewish civilians who arrived following 1948.[25] Its 1985 manifesto reportedly states "our struggle will end only when this entity [Israel] is obliterated. We recognize no treaty with it, no ceasefire, and no peace agreements.
