I keep the windows shut and turn the AC on.

Cabin filters in modern cars do a remarkable job in filtering out bushfire smoke along with other nasty stuff.

If i want wind in my face i ride motorbikes.

not the same . Open the window and the air blows directly onto you, as well as often making a racquet. Some people prefer it not to blow directly onto them without losing airflow altogether
