So, which Democrats are trying to change electoral laws during an election?

Oh, you only want to look at ARE TRYING, rather than the done deals. Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

So you think the Republicans did it all and the Democrats didn't scream? Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Maybe they snuck up on them, when they weren't looking. Wink

I repeat; ONLY two states use the system, I guess overall the Dem's are happy. Wink

The Democrats have challenged in court up to a few hundred republican changes this term I don't think the republicans have needed to challenge even 1. The last few terms the Republicans have been all about making it more difficult for people to vote.

And have been happy with there system for over 100 years. For 100 years Plus there believed that their method was better.

They can change their mind but it should not be 30 days from an election to make a change for political gain. The change isn't about finding the best method it is about their side winning.

No no, which Democrat senators are meeting with state governors to change state electoral laws?

You only need one to make your case.

If you can't do that, can you please edit your earlier post to reflect the truth?

Thanks, Lee.

This state put it on hold when the other state threatened to do the same thing if they went ahead.

They waited till it was too late for the other state to change.

Looks like enough republicans are going to vote it down to prevent it going ahead. I am always amazed when a honest republican puts their hand up.

No.No pet. It is a fait accompli among the other states. So where was the wailing and gnashing of teeth then? Roll Eyes

So the Dem's are in the main happy with the status quo, but don't want the two states to do likewise? That seems very inconsistent. Wink

I see. You can't.

One party, the Republicans, use legislative tricks when they find themselves in hot water. They are so brazen they'll seek to meddle in other states' affairs to change the rules, right in the middle of an election.

The other party, the Democrats, do not. They fundraise, pay for ads, knock on doors, and do what they can to get out the vote - democratically. How do we know?

Oh, they all do it, you said.

Do they? We said. No worries, show us a Dem.

You changed the subject.

No no, we said, show us a Dem doing it. You said it.

You refused to say. Instead, you asked irrelevant questions and posted giggles.

So, now we know. They most certainly are not all as bad as each other.

You just won't acknowledge facts.

Ever get the feeling you've been farmed?

The republicans have lost dozens of cases aimed at rigging the election results. Redrawing electoral boundary maps, Challenging voter registrations to get registered voters taken off the rolls, all sorts of new voting rules, Voting restrictions, no vote by mail regulations and it goes on and on. Now Lindsey is trying this one. The republicans have literally made hundreds of attempts. Some have been successful.

They even tried to overturn a landslide presidential election.

Lee knows that. He tried asking lots of curious questions about 2020 too, knowing full well he was just having a hoot.

RIGGED !!!

Again, the way the election procedures changes from state to state (even from one county to the next in some cases) is mind blowing when compared to the way a federal election is run here in Australia with a national set of rules, procedures, guidelines and legislation to ensure a uniform counting and reporting of votes across the nation by the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC). I get that the US very much likes having state-based control, but for a federal election, surely having one uniform set of rules and laws is best practice to ensure a consistent and fair counting of the votes?

There are some things the Americans do that they really lead the world on, and then there are some things that just make you scratch your head and wonder what the hell are they thinking?
