He wouldn't go to maximum security. He's only been convicted of financial crimes.

If he IS raped in jail, that's a clear indication that the US needs to spend more on jails and wardens.

It is obscene that the US (and also Australia) lets the scum of society decide whether a prison term is simply boring, or a term of rape, torture, compulsion to commit further crimes, or even the death penalty. Courts should decide the extent of punishment. Convicted criminals should not!
