Israel has vowed to attack Iran.

It's a worrying mission for the Israeli air force.
They would have to use air tankers to refuel their jets which are
are easy to pick up on radar from hundreds of miles away.
The Iranian air force would try to shoot the air tankers down -
which could mean the loss of all Israeli jets from no fuel.

How will Israel do it?

Iranian air force.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_aircraft_of_the_Iranian_Air_Force

Mikoyan MiG-29    30
Grumman F-14 Tomcat  40
McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II  64
Mirage F1     23

and many more jets that can carry modern air to air missiles.

In my opinion the mission to attack Iran can’t be done without the USA helping with F-22  fighters that
would go 400km in front of the tankers and take out any Iranian jets.
Only the Yanks have those F-22 fighters that could do the job.
They don’t sell them to any other country.

What does Iran say?  -
is this bullshit?

An analysis of Operation 'True Promise II'

    Politics

October 2, 2024 - 21:45

According to several reports, this operation was conducted through the launch of ballistic missiles. Iranian local channels, citing sources from the IRGC, claimed that approximately 400 missiles were fired at military targets in Tel Aviv and its surroundings. Israeli media, for their part, reported that several Iranian missiles had been launched against targets located in the central and southern parts of the colonial entity.

Iranian media, citing sources close to the operation, claimed that “over 80% of the missiles in the first wave hit their intended targets." Additionally, it was reported that
the headquarters of the Mossad, Israel's intelligence agency, was completely destroyed in the attack,

although this information has not yet been confirmed or denied by colonial authorities, who have prohibited any photographs showing the damage caused by the Iranian operation.

Another target of the Iranian missiles was the Negev Air Base, located in the southern part of the occupied territories. This base houses the two squadrons of fifth-generation F-35 fighter jets of the Israeli Air Force and was scheduled to receive a third squadron once more units were delivered.
Iranian media sources have reported that the facility was "completely destroyed" during the attack.

Don't forget Israel’s F-15I Ra’am: The Fighter Jet with Unmatched Range and Power

Quote:
Operational History
Throughout the F-15I’s years in service, the platform has been frequently deployed in conflicts along Israel’s borders and even abroad, including in Lebanon, Syria, and in Gaza. Perhaps most significantly, the IAF’s Ra’am fleet has the ability to reach deep inside Iranian territory. As part of the Jewish state’s Begin Doctrine, the IDF needs to maintain the capability to terminate Tehran’s ability to develop and produce weapons of mass destruction.

Thanks Set,
but they are not stealth aircraft.
The F-22s are the best.

The other alternative is if Israel could secretly use a foreign air base such as in Kuwait?

Nothing was said about how they did their last mission into Iran.    Undecided

'Kuwait refuses entry to anyone with a passport issued by Israel or documenting travel to the State of Israel; citizens of another country can also be banned if they have Israeli visa stamps on their passport or they are dual citizens.'
One option is for Israel to flatten Kuwait and use the airfield, with US fuel supply.  Or get Ukrainians to do it, through Tel Aviv airport.

When killing 45,000 innocent people just isn't enough ?

Dnarever,

Please do not worry.........

As a consequence of the Gaza conflict      [initiated by your Hamas cadres].......

All of the dead Jews ARE IN HELL.

But all of those innocent, dead moslems, are in the Paradise of Allah.

Those in the Paradise of Allah, are drinking wine, and eating honey.

And all of the moslem men, in the Paradise of Allah, have each been allotted 177 virgins,
or Is it 277 virgins ?

So please stop your whining.

whine = = a long, high-pitched complaining cry.

THIS IS ALL TRUE.

YOUR own friends, in Sydney, Australia, declare it to be so.

AND THE KORAN WOULD NOT LIE..........

"Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise):
they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain:...."
Koran 9.111

Yes you are 100% in support of the genocide of the people of Palestinian. Not one in a hundred belong to Hamas. It is just the murder of innocent people the majority women and children.

Much of the western world support this genocide for their own financial gain.

They want to colonize Lebanon - the promised land by Moses.
Lebanon is much nicer than Israel
mountains,  rivers -
rivers run from the mountains all year round -
rich fertile mountain land -
the Jews want the best stuff - not the dry desert.

Stealth or range? Hmmm, combined aircraft incursion? Multi-layered. Even the US will be using F-15s into the 2030s(F-15EX), it's a very capable aircraft exceding both the f16 abd f35 in combat range.

Well at least the F16s will give Iran a sporting chance.

Well you did wonder about F-35s needing refuelling and the vulnerability of tankers, the F-15 is more than capable of taking care of the tankers and can stay in the air longer than F-16s or F-35s. The F-35s could then be used in a stealth role, refuel and have cover returning home.

Now if Israel had a squadron F-111s... Under the radar, no refuelling, nuke capable. Cry

Yes we lost long range capability too when we scrapped them.   Undecided
