01-Oct Israeli military are reporting that the Iranian attack on Israel has concluded. At approximately 1645 UTC Iran launched a series of missiles at Israel, 150-200 in total. A large number made surface contact in Israel. The missiles were observed transiting the Tehran FIR (Iran), and the Amman FIR (Jordan). Jordan (OJAC A0367/24 at 1658Z) and Iraq (ORBB A0422/24 at 1735Z) have closed their airspace by Notam. Israeli airspace was closed during the attack, and is now open again, though EASA and state warnings are active recommending avoidance. Iraq plans to reopen their airspace at 2100Z, as per Notam A0423/23.

So if a missile did this damage to a school then what was the damage to other targets?

USS Bulkely (DDG-84) and USS Cole (DDG-67) fired a dozen interceptors as part of the U.S. response to Iranian missiles launched at Israel, the Pentagon announced Tuesday.

Iran launched approximately 200 ballistic missiles at targets in Israel, Pentagon Press Secretary Maj. Gen. Patrick Ryder told reporters on Tuesday. He did not elaborate on what type of interceptors the two destroyers used. No ground-based interceptors were used.

More information will come later once analysis of the attack is completed, Ryder said.

Video:

Iran fires close to 200 missiles at Israel

Videos show dozens of Iranian missiles flying over Israel,
some of them avoiding interception and hitting Tel Aviv.
The Israeli military says they intercepted a majority of them.

Dear mothra,

The point being made, is that the IDF do NOT, NOT, NOT,
and have not   >> EVER <<   targeted 'schools'.

The IDF   >> always <<   target armed militants.

AND, the IDF has EVERY RIGHT......to target those who are attacking Israeli civilians [Israeli men, women, and children].

.

QUESTION;
Why is there a 'never ending' war.......in Gaza ?

Conveniently, the followers of ISLAM [themselves] present to us,
an explanation for their 'never ending' war
[if you will   >> accept <<   that [i.e. their own] explanation ].

n.b.
This explanation is from a moslem cleric, an ISLAMIC holy man,
well versed in ISLAMIC >> religious << doctrine........

Quote:

There Can Be No End to Jihad'

Islamist Sheikh Omar Bakri Muhammad, in an exclusive interview, discusses the rationale for 9/11
11/05/2007

...Any weapons are legitimate in jihad. Even animals may be used as "suicide bombers"! It is not restricted by target—

....even Muslims or children, if used by the enemy as human shields, can be killed.

....Killing women and children never was and never will be part of the jihad in Islam, whether that be the women or children of the Muslims or non-Muslims. So if Chechen mujahedeen killed women and children in Beslan, I would condemn it. The children of non-Muslims, such as those at Beslan, who die in such circumstances go to Paradise.

....Women and children [i.e. boys under 15] or Muslims are not legitimate targets—nor are any noncombatants [clergy, disabled, insane, elderly, etc.]. Not even Israeli children or women, unless they serve in the military, which most do, or live in properties taken from dispossessed Palestinians (Muslim or Christian), which virtually all do.

However, if children are killed, the fault lies with the adult occupiers who brought them into a battlefield situation.

http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2005/februaryweb-only/22.0.html

n.b.
That according to ISLAM's own 'rules of war',
those who bring children into conflict areas/scenarios, are responsible for their deaths.

Sure Israel have targeted schools. And community centres and hospitals and mosques and every day family homes.

Why do you lie, Yadda?

Is it because you've got some weird Promised Land fetish about Armageddon?

If ONE thing is clear from this morning's news ...

Is that the evidence shows, so far, is that Iran is targeting military facilities in Israel ...

Whereas Israel has repeatedly and deliberately targeted schools and hospitals, just in case there's a Hamas combatant hiding somewhere in there

... but don't expect too much 'in depth' coverage on this - for pointing this out will mean you're an anti-semite, in support of terrorism

A "sémite" is actually ...
"A member of any of the peoples who speak or spoke a Semitic language, including in particular the Jews and Arabs"

The reason for Israel's incorrect use of the term - is due to the Jewish refusal of sharing "racist" with anyone else - even though "racist" is the correct term.

The IDF has released footage of the 98th Division entering Lebanon for ground operations last night.

The military says the division's parachute brigade found dozens of weapons, while the Egoz commando unit found rocket launchers during operations yesterday.

I've stopped believing the propaganda, from ALL sides.

The only TRUTH that I see, are the
40,000
fatalities of civilian men, women, children - and medical relief and food and water relief charities in Gaza, ALONE.

The number of civilian men, women, children - and medical relief and food and water relief charities, with limbs blown off,
is close to
100,000
.

The numbers of fatalities and injuries in the military, is a relative PITTANCE.
