It still doesn't make sense.
The Iranians would have had plenty of warning of what was about to happen.
They could shoot air to air missiles at the tankers from 100 miles away and
even if it was an old F4 Phantom firing that missile
they can fly much faster than and an F-35 to get away- -
2.3 times the speed of sound - the F-35 is only 1.6 times the speed of sound.
Something doesn't add up.
Nothing is explained in the media.
