I don't get that it's obvious, sorry. Putin can't afford to denude his arsenal at the moment. Russia can barely hold it's own on one small front, let alone financing a second in the ME.

A drone fired from Lebanon that exploded in the central seaside town of Caesarea early on Saturday targeted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s private home, his office said. The premier and his wife were not present and no injuries were reported.

The short statement from Netanyahu’s office came after the IDF said that “a building had been hit” in the upscale town famous for its swanky villas and Roman ruins and amphitheater.

It was not immediately clear if the home suffered any damage.

The IDF said the drone was one of three launched from Lebanon, the other two were shot down.

The military said it was investigating the incident that apparently saw several failures of Israel’s warning system.

"The Israel Air Force has not built a proper force to deal with drone threats on such a large scale, despite the significant successes in the North," Walla quoted a senior reserve officer as saying on Thursday.

"It’s a fundamental issue. We ended up in a situation where four fighter jets and a missile ship – at best – are chasing one drone.

The IDF's response

"The IAF began organizing for the UAV threat about a decade ago. Since the start of the war, thousands of UAVs have been fired at Israel, most of which were intercepted thanks to the relentless efforts of thousands of soldiers working around the clock to protect the country's skies. The IAF will continue to operate in defense and attack to protect Israel, as it has done over the past year against more than 25,000 launches toward the State of Israel."

Iran has fired a couple of hundred missiles at Israel one Palestinian from Gaza death in West bank from falling rocket part.

Hezbollah have fired over 10K rockets at Israel in the last year you can count on one hand how many Israelis were killed.

Hamas have fired thousands of rockets into Israel how many dead Israelis from that?

I would say Israeli air defences against missiles are the best in the world.

Reagan spent billions on his star wars missile defence couldn't get it to work the US gave up until Israel showed them how to do it.

All the good stuff the US has for precision weapons come from Israeli technology which is one reason why the US supports them.
The Israelis could make billions exporting this technology the US asked them not to share it.

The Israeli F35 shares the same airframe the Jews do their own electronics

Iran,
Hamas,
Hezbollah,
Syrian rebels,
Iraqi rebels,
Houthis in Yemen,
Pallys in the West Bank.

It's a war of attrition that they can't win.
