Federal Politics forum picture

Would the moderators of this forum please change the picture from the disgraceful image of Tony Abbott as Adolf Hitler to something that is not highly offensive and highly inappropriate? It is nothing short of appalling that it is expected that we conduct ourselves with some level of respect in this forum only for a moderator to upload a doctored image of a former PM looking like a murderous dictator responsible for the deaths of 11 million people in the Holocaust. I understand satire, but this is not satire. Such an image is indefensible and must be removed without delay as it has no place in respectful debate in this forum or this country. I don’t expect everyone to agree with his point of view or politics, but I think we are better than this.

I've lost count of how many times I've seen threads and posts asking for that picture to be changed over the past... what is it... nearly 10 years since Tony Abbott was PM.

I even provided a funny picture of Scott Morrison to use as a possible replacement in a past thread asking for Tony to be replaced.

Sometimes I get the feeling "Management" are deliberately leaving Tony there to p*ss off everyone who's asked for it to be changed.

But, perhaps that's just me? Undecided

May be worth keeping a memory of Australia's worst ever PM. The only PM ever who knew what women should be thinking about while they do the ironing, the suppository of all wisdom. If you are old enough to have met actual Holocaust survivors from the Auschwitz camp -- and I have -- you would understand that there were probably 4 million detainee deaths in the World War 2 era. 2.4 million of those deaths were Jewish Holocaust victims.

Where you get that 11 million figure from, I would not know. Were you counting the number of detainee deaths, starting from the year 1924?

I swear that you almost were talking about Anthony Albanese, for a moment. Except, Albo is the one in Kirribilly, doing the ironing in the morning.

My morning coffee usually did the job of clearing out my colon. However, ever since that Voice to Parliament debarcle took place, I managed to "slowly, but kick-the-kitchen-rodent-through-an-open-window surely" attain some measure of sobriety for the last 5 or 6 weeks. The defeated VtP vote helped ensure my success.

Mr Rat still wants me to pay for his hospital cover expenses, despite him having enough drug money and MBF coverage to forego much of an invoice.

Good luck! I have been trying to get the name of my MRB changed to something sensible instead or, effectively, being called “Critters and Critters” plus have the crap board icon replaced by a nice butterfly image I found.

Still trying, YEARS later.
